Excellent Hotel and Staff very nice and friendly
We had a warm welcome at this hotel. The staff are always smiling and happy to assist you on anything. The restaurant downstairs provides one of the quality of food and their service is very nice. I would stay here again.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Its approx a mile and half from the city centre and Edinburgh castle. We didn't mind walking to it as the weather was good and bumped into cafes, bars and shops on the way. The taxi from the airport to hotel shouldn't be more than £22 .

Highly recommended
Very nice hotel, excellent room with the comfiest bed I have EVER slept in. Only slight quibble was the limited parking available. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Hotel near University of Edinburgh
Close to grocery store, University of Edinbugh and the Meadows. Public buses nearby.

Short walk from hotel
YOu can walk across the Meadows to quickly get to the University, Grassmarket, Grey Friars, theNational Museum. Edicnburgh Castle is only about a 30 minute stroll. No need to taxi on a nice day.
