Lumpiest bed in Scotland
We chose to stay in the Edinburgh Airport Hilton to catch an early flight. The location, within walking distance of the terminal and rental car turn-in, was perfect. The shuttle service to the airport, while hardly needed, was prompt and fine. The staff was good Free WiFi was only in the lounge, had to pay for it in the room. The shower was moldty. The hallway carpet was mended with strapping tape. Worst of all was the lumpy, cheap twin mattress that seemed to have some sort of ridge down the center. No way to get comfortable. Still, I'd stay there agiain for an early flight.

Great room, lousy restaurant
The room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Hotel a 5-minute walk to the airport, also free shuttle service. We ate a $60 lunch, then walked over to the airport to get sandwiches because we were still hungry. The hotel lunch was skimpy and expensive, hate to think what dinner would be like. We ate breakfast in the airport as well.

Very GOOD trip! This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the airport, has free wifi in the lounge and helpful staff. On Orbitz we found a good deal if we prepaid which included breakfast, this was a good choice for us. Very glad to have booked this hotel.

Great location to the airport
Stayed at the hotel based on its proximity to the airport. The location was perfect and it was a short walk to the terminals. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the food was reasonably priced.

The location was excellent especially
The location was excellent especially when we have an early flight yto London Heathrow, Te complimentary shuttle to the airport was a bonus. We were also given a packed breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful even helped us to book print our boarding pass. Free wifi in the lounge area was also an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Excellent facility close to the airport
Spacious room though worn...excellent facilities; accommodating staff and good food at the restaurant; poor and unhelpful desk staff especially Jan; free wifi only in the lobby; hotel within walking distance of the airport but the shuttle is free

well run hotel convenient to airport
booked hotel for overnight stay prior to early morning flight. general experience very positive! hotel is VERY convenient to airport with very efficient 24 hr shuttle every 30 minutes. overall, the hotel is low key, neat, and rooms are in good condition (there can be some noise from corridor traffic as the room doors not well sound proofed). Staff are outstanding - porter was very helpful and professional in providing assistance with luggage, parking and local directions; front desk was efficient and courteous; manager offered free temporary parking for rental car prior to its return later that day.

Forced to return home
Convenience and comfort
For convenience and comfort, this hotel was perfect. We were forced to cut our vacation short and return early, so not the happiest tourists. The staff was very friendly, but unable to help us, charging us a huge premium to change our reservation, unable to help us use the internet when it developed a glitch, giving us conflicting information, confused about seating in the restaurant, in short very friendly, but generally incompetent and not helpful.
