Excellent Hotel.
The Hotel is about 10 minutes on train from Waverley Station in Edinburgh, and about 1 minute walk from Edinburgh Park Station with the hotel being visible as soon as you step off the train. A round trip will set you back all of £2.50 with the trains running roughly every 30 minutes from the early morning till about 11.00 at night. A taxi will set you back about £15 - £20 and there are buses as well but again they run very similar times to the trains. The hotel itself provided a great breakfast in the morning varying from cereal to full english to fruit, pancakes and pastries etc. The staff were very helpful at check in, providing us with information about Edinburgh and the train times. they even held our luggage after check out on our last day which was very helpful. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious with shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, iron and board, and all the rest amenities you could need. A tesco across the road provided snacks for the evening and journey home. The maids were friendly and always on hand to tidy the room each day and keep the halls spotless. Overall the hotel was great. I would def stay there again and next time I would take advantage of the pool and gym. Great *HOT DEAL* price for a busy time of year (Fringe Festival) in Edinburgh.

Head to Edinburgh during August for the Fringe Festival. Plenty to see and do amongst the actual attractions to Edinburgh. Created a wonderful atmosphere all day long.

just ok but no good
it's not quiet and staff at reception is not friendly. The bathroom is leaking. I can not feel it's like 4 start hotel standard and services.

A bit outside of the city, close
A bit outside of the city, close to the airport and a big shopping(food) centre. Busses stop going at around 9 p.m Breakfast was of poor quality in regards to the price.

Staff was helpful in telling us about the train and schedules. We found it difficult to drive from the airport to the hotel and find it--the traffic was confusing.

A nice hotel with friendly staff
A nice hotel with friendly staff and a great little leisure centre and pool. Breakfast had great choice of quality food. Restaurant prices are high as are drinks in the bar. Room clean and spacious. Not in the best of situations being on an industrial park about six or seven miles from Edinburgh centre. However, there is a handy train station only two minutes walk away with regular trains to Edinburgh Waverley station.

Very good hotel,excellent price
Very good hotel, excellent price (we only paid £69 for a 4* double room incl breakfast). However, it's slightly awkward to find (not the hotel's fault) just that it's in the middle of a regeneration area, so take the Edinburgh City Bypass, the A720, and exit at Hermiston Gait. Don't do like us and tour around Edinburgh Business Park, Lochside Avenue, the address given by the hotel. Otherwise, very well-mannered and pleasant staff, no noise in the rooms, good breakfast buffet, except that the hot cooked items lacked in choice - only scrambled eggs and sausages, no bacon or fried / poached / boiled eggs - perhaps available on request. We would certainly give this hotel the thumbs up and it's in an excellent position for conferences at Heriot Watt University (where we were going), the airport (3-4 miles' drive) and the zoo. There is also a brand new railway station within a very short walking distance of the hotel to take you into Edinburgh city centre or travel west towards Glasgow.

Very nice hotel
I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport and I had an early flight home. It was extremely nice. Last Sept. I stayed at a different hotel near the airport and it was cheesy.
