Strictly for airport access
If you are vacationing in Edinburgh, this is not the place for you. It's a very nice hotel but it is out by the airport and there is NOTHING nearby, no stores, no other restaurants except theirs (which is very nice, by the way). We were looking for a place to buy snacks for the room and there was no store or snack shop anywhere nearby. But the room was clean and modern, the staff friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel.

Convenient to airport
The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. It is also very close to the airport, and although we could see planes taking off and landing we could hardly hear them thanks to dual pane windows. It is, however, a little pricey, including the bar and restaurant, and unless you have your own transportation you are stuck there because it's in an industrial area and there isn't much else nearby. Except an even pricier Hilton.

Abgenutzt, abgelegen und überteuert
Leider gibt es am Flughafen Edinburgh lediglich 2 Hotels und das Quality Hotel ist am weitesten entfernt und in schäbiger Umgebung. Einen brauchbaren Gehweg zum Terminal gibt es nicht. Das Hotel selbst ist abgewohnt, mit verschmutzen Teppichen, veralteter Einrichtung, offensichtlich zugespachtelten Schäden an den Wänden und verdreckten Fugen im Badezimmer. Alles andere als einladend. Anfragen an das Personal werden mehr gnädigerweise erfüllt als wirklich als Dienstleistung am Kunden betrachtet. Alles in allem ist es besser etwas anderes zu suchen.
