Great Location
You can't beat the location of this apartment. Close to everything! The downside of the apartment is that there is no internet access, and places in the area with WiFi closed at about 8 or 9 pm.

great location
very clean and the location was spot on. We did have a problem, we never had hot water in the taps, the shower was fine as electric, we never complained as we was only there two nights and just couldnt be bothered and used the kettle to wash up. Our other problem was the extractor fan in bathroom went on for ages after turned on and turned on with light so was very nosiey and the boiler which was next to our bedroom and did keep me a wake for some time. But other than that a nice apartment in great location.

Great girlie getaway
Was surprised how central the apartment was. We were greated by a very pleasant member of staff, given directions and a number to call if we had any queries. Thought the milk, water and orange juice were nice added extras. Also used the discount in the Marchbrae shop. Clean apartment, convenient and would definitely use again.

Great location
We wanted to save money by booking a place with a kitchen, so we could cook some of our meals instead of eating out all the time...We stayed on their flat on Simpson Loan. The location was really really great, quiet, yet super close to everything, Royal Mile, Grassmarket, Princes Street, all within a 10-12 min walk. I had two issues...this was one of their flats that did not have any type of internet or phone line...that put a damper on our stay because we had to truck over to the local starbucks to get online..which ended up being a hassle. Also the Simpson Loan flat is on the ground floor of the building, while security was great, personally I prefer a higher floor for safety reasons, especially since there were floor to ceiling windows in 2 rooms, including the bedroom. I would have also liked a safe in the apartment, but that was not as big of a deal as the lack of internet and phone. Aside from those issues, the place was clean and had everything we needed.

All the museums are free in the UK, so soak up all the culture you can. Edinburgh is a great walking city, especially if the weather is good, so go explore!

Great alternative to a hotel
The apartment is an a great location - central for all that Edinburgh has to offer. being in an aprtment is much more relaxed and social when a group of friends are going away. The apartment had everything that is required and the Welcome pack was much appreciated. The only slight downside was that during the night the rooms got very stuffy and uncomfortable. We had all of the windows open all weekend to make the temperature more comfortable (it was very cool and wet outside) The staff at the office were very friendly and being able to leave our bags there was great.

Staff was wxtra special with fine personal assistance. Contemporary look on the apartment. Within walking distance of everything in City Centre. Close to Tesco Express for food needs. Edinburgh apartment stay
This was an excellent choice for us for a two-night stay in Edinburgh. This particular apartment was on Simpson Loan, west of Edinburgh University and south of the City Centre of Old Town. It was an ultra modern 1 BR 1BA with kitchenette, comfortable leather seating in LR/kitchen combo. HDTV with cable. A washer/dryer was available but we did not use it. We were particularly impressed by the office staff and their helpfulness when we picked up our keys. They provided a map of the city and other useful information. There was also a folder in the apartment with every conceivable piece of information you might need, including how to work the thermostat, adjust the water temperature for the shower, etc. We would use Edinburgh Apartments again in a heartbeat--and plan to do so! Too much to see in a day and a half.

Long walk from hotel
Start by visiting the Castle and plan to spend 3-4 hours there. It was fascinating! Also, build up some leg strength before visiting Edinburgh--you will not believe how hilly a metro area can be. These folks know how to build in steep hills.

Great location; Poor customer service!
The location is fantastic but that does not make up for the extremely poor customer service. The least of the problems at these apartments is that they are a walk-up; there is no lift. The description does not mention that. The worst of the problems was no hot water, no remedy for the problem and no adjustment to the bill because of the problem. Bottom line...I would never use them again nor would I recommend it them to anyone.

The Whiski Bar. Great whisky (scotch) menu and outstanding food. The mussels are to die for...and I don't even like mussels.
