Brilliantly located on Edinburgh's Royal Mile and Old Town, these luxury, 4-star apartments feature stylish interiors with spacious lounge areas. Edinburgh Castle is less than a 10 minute walk away. Each of the relaxing lounge areas at St Giles Apartments is individually furnished and includes a large TV with DVD player and a modern coffee table. Some include city views, hanging artwork, or comfortable leather sofas and rugs. All of the sleek and modern designer kitchens are fully equipped with equipped units including an oven/stove top, microwave, and dishwasher. Full kitchen silverware and dishes is provided, and each open-plan kitchen features a dining area with chairs. Some apartments also include scenic balconies, allocated parking spaces, or pretty courtyard gardens. Edinburgh Waverley Station and the lovely Prince's Street Gardens are just a 5 minute walk from the apartments. The fantastic shopping of Prince's Street is just a short walk away. Please note that you need to come to our office beside the retail shop Marchbrae at 375 High Street to check in and collect keys to your apartment. Edinburgh Royal Mile Up Close

Apartment 1 overlooked the Royal Mile and St. Giles Cathedral. Fantastic hugh windows overlooking everything. Recent remodel with new appliances in 2011. Staff was wxtra special with fine personal assistance. Contemporary look on the apartment. Within walking distance of everything in City Centre. Close to Tesco Express for food needs. Next door to whisky shop with excellent selection of whisky and wine.

Edinburgh apartment stay

This was an excellent choice for us for a two-night stay in Edinburgh. This particular apartment was on Simpson Loan, west of Edinburgh University and south of the City Centre of Old Town. It was an ultra modern 1 BR 1BA with kitchenette, comfortable leather seating in LR/kitchen combo. HDTV with cable. A washer/dryer was available but we did not use it. We were particularly impressed by the office staff and their helpfulness when we picked up our keys. They provided a map of the city and other useful information. There was also a folder in the apartment with every conceivable piece of information you might need, including how to work the thermostat, adjust the water temperature for the shower, etc. We would use Edinburgh Apartments again in a heartbeat--and plan to do so! Too much to see in a day and a half.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Start by visiting the Castle and plan to spend 3-4 hours there. It was fascinating! Also, build up some leg strength before visiting Edinburgh--you will not believe how hilly a metro area can be. These folks know how to build in steep hills.

Great location; Poor customer service!

The location is fantastic but that does not make up for the extremely poor customer service. The least of the problems at these apartments is that they are a walk-up; there is no lift. The description does not mention that. The worst of the problems was no hot water, no remedy for the problem and no adjustment to the bill because of the problem. Bottom line...I would never use them again nor would I recommend it them to anyone.

The Whiski Bar. Great whisky (scotch) menu and outstanding food. The mussels are to die for...and I don't even like mussels.

Great quiet flat in busy central area

Great location off the busy Royal Mile, but tuckead away and very quiet. (View into court yard/other houses, but still not too intimidating)

Nous étions dans un appartement à 5 minutes du centre très propre en bon état au calme en un mot super . A conseiller a tout le monde , st Giles Apartments est une bonne et sérieuse entreprise .
