An excellent location, close to the tourist centre of Exeter. The price is reasonable if you book in advance and manage to secure a good deal. The rack rate is too expensive. The service is good but hotel facilities could be better eg there are no fridges in the rooms and no ice making facilities.

Stop counting the stars
Great location. Beautiful public areas. Rooms small and simple, worn carpets and furnishing. Amenities befitting a 2* hotel, not 4*. Bedding did not even fit the mattress. Pillows and mattress were past their lives. Towels left on floor for replacement were simply re-hung on the rack. Requested an adjustment on our prepaid stay. Non responsive to complaints to corporate office after on site manager referred us to contact them.

We were disappointed that, having
We were disappointed that, having booked a deluxe room, we were given a room worse than the standard room we had last year. The bathroom was also disappointing, in that there was quite a lot of mould and evidence of a lack of cleaning. There was a thick layer of dust on part of the towel rail, which was constantly heated, so that the bathroom was unbearably hot. Overall, a nice hotel in a great location, but standards are not as high as they should have been.

Mein Einzelzimmer war sehr gut
Mein Einzelzimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Doppelzimmer, das wir auch noch gebucht hatten, hatte nicht einmal einen Wasserkocher, was in jedem Durchschnittshotel in England zur Grundausstattung gehört.
