Carlton George Hotel Glasgow

Greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Lovely room, free minibar, use of lounge on 7th floor, excellent central location. Will definitely stay here again!

I had a poor experience the first time I stayed at the Carlton George a couple of years ago. The air conditioner in my room (#106) didn't work on a warm summer night. There were no other hotels available, so I sweated through the night. The hotel provided a fan, but that was a rather poor substitute for a niqht's sleep. But I thought, "Hey, everyone has an off-day, the location is great, the staff pleasant, the furnishings are very comfortable, so I'll give it another shot.". I checked in and was given, you guessed it, room 106. The air conditioner did not work. I moved to room 511; the air conditioner did not work, the room was about 90 degF. Enough was enough and, with the manager's blessing, out I went. It's too bad because in all other aspects it is really nice, but I won't be going back.

We found the staff at the. Hotel to be most pleasant and helpful all questions were fully answered and, usually, additional information Added that proved to be most. Useful.what was really. Surprising was the fact that the staff made it extremely clear that their task was to ,make you comfortable and this was their number one goal. They did indeed succeed. The. Location wasf fantastic 'we found that the entrances to the subway the train station and the bus stops were almost in front of the hotel. We were only minutes from eveything, on top off this some of the best restaurants, shopping.mall s were in walking distance of the hotel"

My sister and I stayed in this Hotel and we were really satisfied with our room.I would point out that we were on floor 4 and were told that rooms on floor 2 had not yet been refurbished so am not sure how nice they would be. Having said that we were delighted with our room ( and the complimentary mini bar was an added treat! ). I was surprised at how quiet the room was despite the central location! Would definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel is located in the middle of Glasgow, an easy walk to all attractions and the huge pedestrian mall. Our room was neat, clean and well appointed. The room included breakfast, the honor bar was free and included a Single Malt, Gin, Sherry,and wine. The bed was comfortable with good pillows allowing for an excellent night of sleep.

What a fantastic hotel! from reception staff, house keeping, waiters, chefs and everyone else who provide an excellent service to all customers. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the executive lounge to celebrate my partners 40th birthday, what a great start to the day. The room we were given was luxurious comfort with everything we needed and more. The beautiful windows restaurant was a dining experience that will be visited once more (top marks to the chefs and waiters). I would certainly recommend this hotel to all I know and I'm sure that I will be returning again.

Fantastic boutique hotel perfectly located at the end of shopper's paradise Buchanan street. Beautifully decorated, modern rooms and wonderful service.

Best hotel I have stayed in in Glasgow. Rooms and faciltities are excellent and the location is central. Will certainly stay here in the future. Couldn't fault anything.

Fantastic hotel great location & very helpful staff. The room had everything necessary for a great stay & the meal in Windows was superb. We shall return soon - in fact are booked in at the end of May. Our favourite hotel in Glasgow.

We had a great trip and the hotel made a difference. I don't think think the hotel or the staff could have been better.
