Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport
The price was good, the room was neat and clean. We were uncomfortable due to the air conditioner didn't work very well, that's not a good thing for someone who suffers from claustrophobia. I finally got to sleep about 3 hours before taking a 7 hour flight. The food at the restaurant was ok, the service was not, I finally gave up and went to the bar and ordered from there.

Glasgow International is only 300 feet from from the Holiday Inn (door to door). I would recommend strictly for the proximity of the airport. 300 feet.

Hotel is clean and functional. Perfect location for an early flight as it is less than 2 minutes walk from the airport terminal.

Outrageous Meal Prices
Location is great but others are almost as close and much better. We were prevented from eating in the coffee shop bec they were waiting for a bus tour which didn't appear all the time we were in the bar (about an hour)competing with 30 other people for the 10 tables in the bar...where we were shunted to order a meal. PLus as mentioned the pricesof food and drink were over the top expensive.

Very Good Experience
The hotel is the closest to the Glasgow Airport, very handy when you have an early morning flight. It has been upgraded since I last stayed there. My room was lovely, comfortable and very quiet. I enjoyed an excellent dinner in the dining room. I only wish I had not had to leave at 5AM!

holiday holiday
i used this hotel because i had a very early flight out of glasgow and the location is perfect, a five minute walk to the airport doors. the room was as expected (i realize the uk hotel rooms a usually smaller than in the us)but they were in need of an update. the l-shaped desk/cabinet/dresser/vanity/tv syand was massive and easily took up a third of the floor space. it was in sad shape, as was the easy chair that was missing a leg. replacing it with an armoire and small desk would free up some floor space and allow another chair ( two in a room, one chair doesnt work). check in was easy and quick. staff was friendly. id like to see an alarm clock in the room, but thats me. i would have no problems staying there again.
