Jurys Inn Glasgow

I've stayed at this Jurys several times now, and really enjoy it. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. It's a great location for my business commitments in central Glasgow, and within easy walking distance of the city centre's cultural/entertainment venues and eateries. I also love to watch the trains from the comfort of my room - but that's not everybody's taste! If you don't want train noise, ask for a room at the front. Downsides: it would be great to have free wi-fi (the cost is a bit silly), and the central location means it does suffer a bit from hen parties and the like, which happened on my latest stay - but the hotel has a zero tolerance policy to nuisance noise, so when I phoned reception at 12.30 a.m. they sent somebody immediately to shut the people in question up! All was peaceful after that. I started using this hotel as it was so convenient for my business needs, but it's become a place I go to stay for short breaks just for the pleasure of it.

As I had to go to Scotland on a very short notice, I didn't have time to change my phone over to the international phone (Verizon). I need to use the phone in my room. I ask the person at the front desk, "how much it would cost to call locally)? (In Glasgow) She told me that it wasn't that expensive at all. So I made four calls with a total amount of time of less than 10 mins. Upon check out I found out the cost was $31.15 U.S. I couldn't believe my eyes. I am still dumbfound that it would cost over $30 to make 4 calls that took less than 10 min for all (Local calls). The person at the front desk told me that they couldn't do anything about it since they are charged by the telephone company. I ask to see the rates from the telephone company but she couldn’t provide me with any. So word of the wise it might be cheaper to use your cell phone. Two more things to say, the hotel can be noisy at night due to the fact that building is adjacency to the main train terminal where all the train lines met. The second thing was my heat in the room kept turning off every two hours I could almost see my breath. All in All it was located in the heart of Glasgow and I would stay there again, since I am wiser now.

booked for triple, set up for two i,e. 2cups 2sets towels tea/coffee x2. heating set up need magnifying glass to read signs. Wood fascia coming off shelf light fitting broken. No parking facilities have to use multi -storey across the road. Greatfull half price by hotel. Double BED is small dbl. B/fast £8-50 each, used nearby bar/restaurant bill for three £13-60. O.K. for business users wanting city centre.

Hotel was amazing.staff very friendly and helpful.The only issue i had was upon checking in, the hotel had no record of my reservation in the computer,luckily i had printed off the confirmation sent by yourselves.The receptionist Lindsey was very apologetic and helpful, but this was not her fault.Im unsure as to why my booking was not on their system, or whose fault it is, butt did mar my stay a little.

These days, for a 3-star hotel not even to offer a bottle of water in the room; to have uncomfortably thin pillows on the bed; to have 'fizzy' machine-dispensed orange juice, cold toast and a tray of pre-cooked and rapidly cooling fried eggs at breakfast, and no room service after 9.30pm is pretty poor. Jury's tried hard, but fell short.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful In thought that the cost was on the high side as it did not include breakfast

Very good location for shopping,about ten minute walk from Queen St. station. We chose the hotel for access to O2 Academy concert venue. It was only a ten minute walk as well. Plenty of eateries/pubs nearby.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, posizione ideale (adiacente alla stazione ferroviaria e quindi al treno proveniente da Glasgow Prestwick) ed al centro storico e commerciale.

市の中心部でセントラル駅の隣接地であるため、買い物や観光もグラスゴー周辺まで行くことが出来たが、12月25、26日は鉄道やバスも全面的に営業していなく、移動に苦労した。ホテルの清潔さや設備はとても良かった。価格は高いとは感じないが、朝食はバイキング形式で食べやすかった。また、グラスゴーへ行ったら泊まりたいと思う。ホテルマンの接客も大変に良かった。
