Great urban hotel

Easy, modern and friendly. I got off from a long flight, scrambled in s cab and was asleep when I got to the hotel. They took care of me, getting me in a room early (920 am) and sending me some tea at 4. Old school service!

Two night stay.

Not realy a 5 star hotel in any way. Very plain with little that stands out. Rooms were clean and tidy but very ordinary for the price. View into a dreary courtyard which was very disapointing. On the plus point the location is excellent for Glasgow Central Station but there are many others just as central and much more reasonably priced. Can't see us going back here in a hurry.

Off to Glasgow to review the libertines

Arrived after a delayed flight from London and picked up by a very charming airport cabbie feeding anecdotes about Glasgow. Check in at hotel was a come down after the lift of arriving in a new city. Can I check out late as working and an evening return flight? No. Fully booked. Any chance of a swim. No. Closed. Maybe a smile! Cool lift up to second floor and ok room with big glass windows, bit noisy from traffic and shame about twin beds. Shower not very strong but not worst ever. Time was pressing and wanted to stretch legs so walked to barrow lands to see the libertines warm up for their Hyde park show. True what they say about gigs in this city, the crowd was incredible put us Londoners to shame. Arrived back at hotel pretty late after meeting band and managed to get a drink at the ground floor bar after finding someone to serve us. Check out was fine and was allowed to use computer and printer to confirm evening flight . Got some good tips off the concierge and he booked me an airport taxi. Nice chap. Spent day sightseeing. The cathedral was beautiful well worth a look. Alas time was up. Sat in front lobby waiting for my taxi to airport who also apparently was waiting for me. Front desk had no idea who I was and there was no one in the room 251 ( re no to late check out cheers!) fortunately noticed cabbie man and jumped in. In conclusion first impressions make the biggest impression and last impressions none more so in hotels

Excellent night stay

Booked a double room for valentine's day. Both me and my boyfriend loved the room, particularly the floor to ceiling windows. Perfect location for a night out in Glasgow. Only downside was the fact that they had pushed 2 single beds together to create a double, presumably to meet the Valentine's day demand - not the most comfortable. Apart from that thoroughly enjoyed stay and staff very friendly and want to go out of their way to help you. Great hotel.

Gift for Family Member

Booked for a 25th Wedding Anniversay gift. Hotel, check in smooth, staff asked ocasion and offered a bottle of wine at the bar or in the room. They took the wine in room offer and were delighted. Room/bathroom very clean and spacious. Both enjoyed it, would definetly book again.
