At Hatton Court Hotel in Gloucester the hotel's aim to offer the guests the very warmest of welcomes. Choose from the range of individually styled bedrooms - many with whirlpool baths and other little touches to help you relax and enjoy your stay. Despite its imposing appearance today, the original house that forms the heart of Hatton Court was built in the 1920's as a home for the mistress of a prominent local businessman, so rumour has it. It was first put to use as a hotel in the 1950's and called the 'Tara' which is an old Gaelic word meaning 'hill.'

Excellent romantic getaway

My wife and I are going on a road trip across the UK and found this little gem just outside of Gloucester. It was an excellent little Bed and Breakfast type place. The service was superb and the view from the place was phenomenal!
