Appauling Customer Service

We spent the evening here as part of a friends wedding and from a venue perspective it was lovely, the buildings and grounds could not be faulted - however from a service perspective this is NOT a good hotel. We asked prior to booking for a cot in our room, checked in and re-affirmed our request and to our dismay found that the cot was not in the room when we got to it at 5pm after a long day at the wedding. We then called reception and it took a further 45 minutes for a cot to arrive. I was also told that we could pay using Marriott vouchers prior to placing the booking which upon check-out the hotel refused. To rectify this took over 8 weeks of constant chasing and failed promises to get back to me. Marriott then refunded the vouchers but with no formal apology. The whole customer experiance was appauling and I WILL NOT stay at a Marriott hotel again if this is how they treat customers as standard.
