Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel

Tremendously welcoming and hospitable staff. Very convenient to Heathrow Airport with regular shuttle service between the hotel and the airport. The rooms were large, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Great stay!

Greeted with champagne at the front desk was a nice touch. The main lobby appears to have undergone a recent renovation. The room we had was not large, but sufficient, clean, quiet and functional. The in-house restaurant was good but not cheap. Breakfast buffet was too expensive, so we opted for the in-house Starbucks amd a cup of coffee. And there is really nowhere else to eat. The coin-operated public computer I used was very slow but ate money quickly when I wanted to print boarding passes. Moreover there was no one in the area to help so I needed to track down someone at the concierge desk to assist me. The motel is a good 10-15 minute bus ride from Heathrow terminal 5 via a public bus (£8 for a round trip per person), as few of the local hotels including this one offer their own shuttle.

Nothing but good things to say. The rooms are a little smaller than other nearby properties, but the cleanliness and comfort of the room more than offset this. Great place to sleep the night before a flight out.

i use this hotel every time I am at Heathrow; as airport hotels go it's fine. Wouldn't call it luxurious (would actually give it 3.5 stars but didn't have that option so gave 4 ) but it's fine for one night and staff is good. Time before last , room wasn't up to par so I emailed them about it and they upgraded me this time. I feel safe here and will be back

This hotel was great. The lobby is beautiful. The room was nice and clean. Room service was prompt and good. The workout facility was very nice and large for a hotel facility. I will stay there again when I am traveling through London. The bonus for me was the Starbucks...a taste of home.

The hotel and staff were friendly but the room was stuffy and not being able to open the windows meant we had to rely on the air conditioning.This dries out your nose and throat overnight.The bed had plastic mattress protectors on which made for an uncomfortable night.I understand the need for the protectors but the hotel could invest in a higher quality of mattress protector and this problem would not occur.

Good hotel, clean room, on time shuttle to the airport

The front desk staff was abrupt. The assistant manager was very helpful. When I checked in I was told that the first night was paid for and that I had to pay for the second hight even though I had prepurchased both nights. After a 17 minute call from the UK (Expensive) with Orbitz Customer Support, I was told that the matter was straightened out with the Asst Manager. When I went back to the desk, I was told that I was mistaken and no one had ever informed me that the charge for the second night was not paid for. When the Asst Manager came out, she confirmed my version and that the charges woudl be placed accordingly. Very frustrating.

This is the second time we stay in the Hotel in between flights. 5 min Free Bus ride goes every 30 min directly between the hotel and terminal 5. the beds are very comfortable (we are very picky ). the room is very clean and the people are very friendly. Breakfast is that great but other then that it is nothing less of what you'll need.

The hotel is just OK, nothing fancy, a little outdated. Check-in was ridiculously slow! Extremely close to the airport, makes it easy to get to your flight in the morning.
