The staff at this hotel are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We got great value for money over the four nights we stayed (Thursday-Monday). The room was perfect for what we needed it for (a place to sleep after long days shopping/nights out). The hotel has a restaurant and bar but we found it better value in the city centre. Our room looked out on Queens Dock/River Mersey which was a nice bonus.

Basic hotel which is all you need when you are out all day but with the amenities to make it comfortable.
Great heating in the rooms for these winter nights

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious with all mod cons and is spotlessly clean. The bathroom was nice too. We stayed in a standard room which was excellent value for money. The bar is a bit on the expensive side but then thats normal for hotels. Breakfast was good as there was plenty of choice although the bacon was a bit over done for me. The staff are really pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is situated right in heart of Liverpool One and is handy for accessing the Albert Dock and the new Liverpool Museum . The shopping area is right on the door step with a good selection of restaurants and bars within easy reach.
I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very convenient to the train station and major sites in the city. It's a decent big chain hotel - clean, well organized. No surprises, nothing very distinctive. If you need to come and go from the train station, the location is perfect.

This 2 bed apartment, while a welcome addition to Liverpool, left a lot to be desired. The master bedroom was extremely small, too small to include suitcases, which had to be left in the living area. Only 1 clothes hanger in wardrobe. Tea towels, laundry powder, tea spoons were not included. The bathroom did not have an extractor fan, and there was nowhere to put personal toiletries. The design of the common space outside the apartment caysed ut to echo, and the comings and goings of other guests causes undue noise. The wash basin plug in the bathroom became stuck, and caused problems for the three of us and worries about hygiene. Despite promises to rectify, nothing was done by the management during the four days and nights we stayed. The Wi Fi service was very good with a good signal and was free of charge.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the hotel was nice and warm. Room was smaller than I expected as I booked a double room and expected two beds in the room as brought over my son Mark for a Liverpool match. Lifts were a bit temperamental! but overall we enjoyed the hotel.

the only critisism i can make about the adelphi is the standard of breakfast. buffet it may be but quality of the sausages abd bacon seem questional. just glad i did not pay full price for it! coffee seved at the table from a thermas flask and tased like it had been filtered through an old boot(far to strong)tea a better option if y6ou can attract the eye of the sreving girls.

Excellent location across street from the new Liverpool One shopping centre and five minutes walk from the historic Albert Dock and waterfront area, including the new Arena & Conference Centre. Only a few complaints: the mattress seemed thin and a bit soft, cooling system didn't seem to drop temperature much and shower/bath area poorly designed, almost impossible to avoid water on the floor. Note the swimming pool is very small!

I can't fault this hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful. The rooms are clean and bright. The staff and management went above and beyond their call of duty. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. A great hotel with great prices!

A fine hotel and a short walk from city center and many sights. Great staff and good room. Only criticism: No ability to adjust the temp in the room or open window. It is a converted old urban house, so it is nice and interesting, and don't expect the usual hotel facilities. I would stay again!

After the phone in my original room did not work, they transferred me to a different room and comped lunch. Internet wi-fi only in lounge area, hassle to go down to connect.

Excellant location walking distance to most places. Right next to the Isle of Man ferry terminal. Parking on site friendly staff. We didn't eat in the Hotel so can't comment but we ate 3 nights at different restaurants at Liverpool one which were excellant. Would definately stay there again.

All apartments are fully furnished and include a living room with comfortable couches, dining table and televisions with free view boxes and DVD players. The apartments contain fully fitted kitchens with full fridge/freezers, washer dryers, over and hobs. The majority of the units also have dishwashers. Bedrooms have been finished to the highest standards offering luxurious double beds promising you a great night sleep and ample storage space for luggage. Each apartment contains a luxury fully fitted bathroom containing power showers, fluffy towels and heated towel rails. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided in each apartment. You must call Liverpool city center apartment at least three days prior to arrival to confirm your time of arrival and arrange to collect from the hotel at 24 Cornwallis court, 9 Cornwallis Street, Liverpool, L15EL.The hotel also provide amenities like lift / Elevator, non-smoking rooms, parking facilities-at cost and smoke free hotel.

Description
The Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool has been developed within the Britannia Pavillion, Albert Dock. A group of 19th Century Grade one listed warehouses, made entirely from cast iron & red brick. The Albert Dock is now the largest group of Grade One listed buildings in the UK and as such the Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool has retained many of the original features. Today the Warehouse has been beautifully renovated and now offers 135 bedrooms, which offer choice and flexibility to business and leisure clients alike. All rooms feature Wi-Fi, modem points, direct dial telephones, power showers, hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities and fully interactive colour TV's showing Sky TV & Pay Movies. Our conference rooms can accommodate up to 35 delegates and also have their own unique decor. Also located in The Albert Dock are numerous quality restaurants and bars all within a minutes walk. Be sure to book a table at weekends. We are located just five minutes walk from Liverpool's vibrant town centre where you will find one of the busiest and friendliest nights out in the country. Situé en plein centre-ville, en face de la grande roue sur le Albert Dock, endroit idéal pour faire du tourisme car musées & shopping à proximitié immédiate.
La chambre était très grande et propre, tout comme la salle de douche. Petites attentions simples mais sympathiques (oreiller dur ou mou, par exemple).
Petit déjeuner à volonté et très bon.
Seul hic : le personnel d'accueil n'était pas très... accueillant.

Very nice. Modern, room and bath room were very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, staff was helpful, large breakfast spread, next to Albert Dock but a little inconvenient to City Center, but only a short walk. Will definitely stay there on return to Liverpool.

I don't think I'll bother with hotels again if this apart/hotel is anything to go by. Neat, clean and compact with everything you need and in an incredibly central location. The only very minor downside was how warm it was ... although I doubt that's a problem in the winter ... as the windows don't open enough to create air flow.
I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

This place was so nice we stayed an extra day. Me and a friend are traveling UK cities.The hotel is very close to everything. Shopping is across the street and everything else is a short 15 minute walk away. By everything we mean shopping (2 minutes), Nightlife (5 min), Museum/art (15 minutes), Coach (12 minutes), other entertainment /dining (5-10 minutes).The apartment was cozy and had everything needed in an Apartment. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice place close to the city center. Internet was available and worked well. All apartment areas were clean. I enjoyed having the extra space without the extra cost (many UK hotels rooms are small).

Very helpful friendly staff. Lovely room with a great view of the docks and Liver Building in the distance. Excellent value for money. Only down sides are slightly lonely route for walking back after dark and towards closing time breakfast was a bit of a scrum with queues for most items and difficulty in finding somewhere to sit. I would stay here again and would take an earlier breakfast and take a cab for the short journey back form the centre..

A superb 18th century hotel recently refurbished, and one of the most famous pubs in Liverpool. Your stay at this Bed & Breakfast Hotel is a real experience, providing you easy access to Liverpool City Centre - just a quarter of a mile away. Close to all major attractions, explore all that Liverpool has to offer, from its magical nightlife to the peace and tranquility of two, amazing Cathedrals and of course a visit to Liverpool would not be complete without seeing world famous football clubs - Liverpool FC & EVERTON FC - all a five minute ride away. Liverpool is steeped in history and a two minute bus ride from outside the hotel will allow you to explore this wonderful and vibrant city.
