The hotel gained great publicity a month ago when Paris Hilton stayed here when attending the Carling Academy next door. (GW 06/2008) The hotel is a large white Victorian building which has retained many of the original features including the bay windows at the front. The entrance is covered by a large canopy. The hotel can be found on Lord Nelson Street, situated in the heart of Liverpool city centre, just 2 minutes walk from Lime Street train station, bus stops, and a taxi rank. Due to the hotel's excellent location, all of the sites and attractions Liverpool has to offer are within easy reach.

Situated at the junction of both the M58/M57, access by car is very easy. This hotel offers excellent value for money and comes highly recommended. (GW 07/2008) The original building was built in the 1930s with the modern extension added in the 1970s. The hotel has its own complimentary car park for 150 cars.
The hotel is located Dunnings Bridge Road, 3 miles from Liverpool City Centre and very close to the world famous Aintree Racecourse.
