Nicht so schlecht, jedoch viele Mängel
Die Lage ist OK, weil in der Nähe eine Underground Station ist, Beim Frühstück hätte ich mir schon mehr erwartet, z.B. Eier oder Schinken. Der Energieverbrauch ist den Engländern sowieso egal, die Fenster sind nicht annähernd dicht, wahrscheinlich aus den 40er Jahren, d.h. Lärm von der Strasse und Zugluft. Der Teppichboden war schmutzig (unschöne Flecken), das Badezimmer dafür extrem klein mit teilweise defekten Armaturen. Das Zimmer an sich modern mit Flatscreen, aber kahl eingerichtet. Wahrscheinlich gibt es um dieses Geld kein besseres Zimmer.

Für kleine Menschen!
Hotel in sehr guter Lage (U-bahn 3min.) mit normalem kontinentalen Standardfrühstück. Zimmer für 3 Personen sehr klein, Duschkabine zwergenhaft ähnelt eher einer Nasszelle im Campingmobil. Für Londoner Verhältnisse aber Im Prinzip in Ordnung. Personal sehr freundlich. Für Kurztrips zu empfehlen.

Bon compromis
Hotel très respectable, propre, rénové, chambre correcte, petit bémol sur le cadre et les mets du petit déjeuner Très bien situé, près de la station Gloucester Nous y retournerons certainement.

Für den Kurztrip ok
Kleines bescheidenes Zimmer, Sauberkeit ok (bis auf Haare auf der Tagesdecke); Nassbereich sauber, Dusche war verkalkt und musste selbst gängig gemacht werden; Frühstück bescheiden continental aus Einzelpackungen, Toast zum Selbsttoasten aber gut ausreichend; Lage ruhig und kurzer Weg zur Underground; bei längeren Aufenthalten würde ich ein anderes Hotel suchen, aber Preis-Leistung war ok.

Nous avions demandé une chambre avec 3 lits; Nous avons eu 1 lit de 2 places et un lit d'appoint. Pour une personne de 50 ans dormir dans un lit d'appoint, je ne vous dis pas les levées. Pour un enfant ok mais pour un adulte NON.

What you pay is what you get - und mehr
Wir haben (nach einigen teils schlechten Bewertungen) nicht viel von diesem Hotel erwartet und wurden sehr positiv überrascht: Die Lage ist für Städereisen ideal, sehr nahe an der Gloucester Road Underground Station, ein paar Geschäfte (Essen, Elektronik wie Reiseadapter, Pubs) praktisch um die Ecke, ziemlich ruhig. Die Zimmer sind mehr oder weniger sauber, vielleicht etwas eng, aber absolut ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das inbegriffene Frühstück entspricht dem typischen Angebot (Toast, mehrere Sorten Cornflakes, Fruchtsäfte und Früchte, Butter und Konfitüre) und gibt Energie. Wir werden dieses Hotel bei allfälligen späteren Londonreisen gerne wieder berücksichtigen.

Entièrement reconstruit derrière sa façade classique: tout est moderne, fonctionnel, neuf et en bon état, pas un bruit, WiFi utilisable depuis notre chambre (second mezzanine) malgré les indications qui disent qu'utilisable que dans le hall, nécessaire à boissons chaudes, mais personnel peu relations publiques: peu de bonjours, pas d'au revoir... Petit déjeuner continental: jus (3), pain carré, fruits (3), céréales (4), beurre, fromage, thé, café, lait.
