Avni Kensington Hotel

Our room was like a nice best western. Location was great close to tube and night buses. Staff was kind and looked up stuff for us to do. no wifi in room only lobby.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was clean. The issue that I had was that the room could use some modernization. No aircondirioning, and the bed was not very comfortable. Close to the tube made it easy to reach.

I booked this hotel because it was in Kensington and had air conditioning. The room we were given was small, depressing and had no air conditioning. Were told that air cond was an upgrade for $30 more per night. We upgraded and the room we got was still depressing but did have air cond. It also had a dirty, badly stained carpet, a tiny, almost unusable shower(no bath), and a mattress which was literally coming apart at the seams and had no mattress pad. We changed rooms again, and got a mattress which was still in one piece, but all else was the same.

Hotel is a 5 minue walk from the Gloucester Road tube stop. In a posh neighborhood this hotel fits right in looks wise. Rooms are small as many are in London. I would recommend upgrading to a larger room. Friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

The hotel is located in a convenient and pleasant location in the desirable Kensington location. The room was spacious (by far the largest we encountered in 2 weeks in London) and the staff was friendly. That said, there were a number of stains on the carpet, and the bedding was clearly worn. The carpet had been vacuumed, and the bedding was clean but both could have used replacement. The mattress was not comfortable. The staff was accommodating (they let us use the desk PC to print boarding passes) but seemed overwhelmed. They run on a key card system, so I thought it was odd that they followed the old "leave your key at the desk" program. We could not get two keys for the room, and at one point during our stay a guest in another room was unable to access their room because the desk had lost their key and couldn't contact the maintenance man. Overall it had the feel more of a youth hostel/dormitory than a 3 star hotel.

Rumskicket var sämre än förväntat, det gick inte justera värmen i duschen, lampor som inte fungerade, krokar som inte var fastkruvade(vilket i sig kan vara ett oturligt sammanträffande, personalen ordnade allt utom duschen) inget riktigt täcke utan lakan och en filt var allt. Ingen AC så nattetid blev det väldigt varmt.. Men utöver det var det OK, bra läge, 4 min gångväg till närmsta underground och buss. Vi tycker inte att de uppfyller sina 4 stjärnor, snarare 2-3.

A 5 mn de la ligne de métro (à pied). Quartier tranquille. Personnel agréable.Petit déj buffet (à volonté) garni de fruits, yaourts, céréales, fromages, pain de mie... Chambre rangée et serviettes de toilettes propres tous les jours. Bémol : moquette de la chambre tachée. Bas de lit en tissus vieux et sale. Robinet de la douche qui gouttait. Lampe de chevet cassée. TV : aucune chaîne française.

Petit-déjeuné excellent Bon hôtel pour le prix Rien a dire

Correct pour 2, voire 3, mais pas 4 étoiles. Sans vouloir entrer en matière, le personnel de cuisine doit faire un effort lors du petit-déjeuner. Pour le reste, nous avons eu une chambre vraiment très miniature.
