30th anniversary vacation.
location is excellent. very close to Gloucester Rd tube station. very good amenities. spacious kitchen and living area. free wifi spotty. I sat by the entrance door to get good reception. elevator was tiny. staff were not consistent. some very knowledgeable about tourist areas and how to get about, others were not. This is an excellent choice for those who can get around London and want an apartment to live in. I would stay there again having learned how to use the subway and train system.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
for those staying more than a few days. get an oyster card for the subway ride to and from heathrow. like 10 gbp. then get a paper travelcard for 7 days which allows 2 for 1 entries to many attractions. you'll need to get this from a surface rail station like charing cross and you'll need a photo like a passport one.

Good Value and Clean
I am very concerned about cleanliness and was worried after reading a few of previous reviews. I found the kitchen and entire apartment to be very clean. I even observed a maid polishing the silver fire extinguisher in the hallway. I thought the king bed was comfortable-but it was 2 twins pushed together. i didn't care for the plastic mattress cover, but we removed it and it was fine. The elevator is only for 3 people, so families would want to keep this in mind. The location was close to the tube and you could walk to get groceries or to eat. Lots of good restaurants nearby. I was concerned that our key was within reach of anyone if the staff left the front desk- which they did do on occasion and left a sign. My husband just got our key himself when we returned from Paris very tired one night. That concerned me as far as safety. However, we later heard that the staff on call caught up to our teens up the stairs and asked if we had our key. Still, this might be a big concern for a person traveling alone.

Sightseeing tip:
Not Applicable
Be sure to purchase tickets and Oyster pass to use the tube in advance. It saved us a lot of wait time. London was very busy everywhere we toured. Also, if you are doing international travel, BE SURE to claim your checked baggage and recheck it.

Good Hotel Friendly Staff & Centrally Located
This hotel is fine. The staff are friendly. The rooms are nice. On the flip side. The lift is tiny and slow. The decor is a bit tired and the bathroom smelled a bit. I had to go to another hotel to book a meeting room, Nevertheless free internet, nice appartment, great location, great staff. This makes up for it all. b

We were upgraded from a studio
We were upgraded from a studio to a suite. TV was poor which may have been the reason it was available. Internet access was great and location was ideal. This was the 2nd time we stayed here and will definitely use it again.

This is a well run aparthotel
This is a well run aparthotel with good service in a very convenient location (2 mins from Gloucester Rd tube). Good kitchen, plasma screens, good free wireless etc. Rooms at the back are quiet, look out over gardens.

The experience with this hotel
The experience with this hotel is depending on the room you get (due to availability etc). Some rooms (in the -1-floor) don't have Internet, some rooms don't have any view but if you're lucky (!) you get a room that's very nice. Wouldn't call this a 5 star hotel, but some rooms are really nice. If you get one of these and pay about £120-150 it's a very good deal. But remember to ask for a nice room!

Hotel is in great location, one block from Gloucster station. clean well stocked supermarket down the block from hotel. staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. near victoria and albert museum. good restaurants which were expensive. we ate in a lot to save money. kitchen was well stocked and if there was something we needed the staff obtained it for us. I would highly recommend this hotel. it's a great value for the cost. it's not easy to find a good hotel deal in London.

Overall an average stay. The room
Overall an average stay. The room size is ok for a studio apartment. Kitchen equipment are adequate. However the sounding proofing of the rooms are non existence. The couple next doors wakes up to cook breakfast 7am in the mrning and we can hear every clanging of the pans and cutlery. Looked at the floor plan and if you have the money, I highly recommend the 1 bedroom apartments which face the front of the building, with the lift between the two apartments, there wont be any 7am wake up noise!!!Plus you'll get two huge sunny windows with balcony!!
