The hotel will be completely renovated and needs this very badly. The staff is magnificently trained to meet needs. The price reflects the condition of the hotel. The staff patiently showed us 4 rooms on a busy Saturday night before we found one we could live with.

Good use a makeover
The hotel is located in a great area. However, the bathroom was covered in mold and the carpet was filthy in the room. The hotel room temperature couldn't be adjusted. The room was freezing! The free breakfast was decent. The hotel needs many upgrades. If you are looking for a cheap place to lay your head for a night and don't care what the room is like, it isn't bad. I wouldn't stay here again, EVER.

Good location
Very very basic but still expected a comfy bed unfortunately out of three in the room none were! Do not ask reception to order you a cab, we were expecting a London cab but got a private car from 'a friend', as we were unable to refuse due to the time factor we had no choice but to pay the driver without a meter in his vehicle.

Familienfreundliche Lage, typisch englischer Touristen- Standart
Für englische Verhältnisse durchaus annehmbares Hotel. Zwar hat es seine besten Tage hinter sich und wirkt schon recht abgenutzt, wird aber bereits von Aussen renoviert. (Vom Baulärm haben wir nix mitbekommen, Zimmer war in einer Zwischenetage und sehr ruhig). Wenn dann noch das Innere drankäme... Zimmer waren aber sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt, auch Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Hatte mit meinem Sohn ein Zimmer mit einem normalen und einem 1,40 Bett, generell relativ viel Platz. Leide aber nur 1 Stuhl in einem eigentlich für 3 Personen ausgelegten Zimmer. Frühstück hatte genug Auswahl für alle, wurde immer ausreichend nachgelegt. Auch bei den warmen Speisen gabs mehreres. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, auch mit Kindern, da im Kensington Park ein grosser Spielplatz gleich ums Eck liegt. U-Bahn und Bus durchgehend in die City auch gleich "vor der Nase". Zu bemängeln habe ich, dass es kein Restauant / Bar gab. Habe extra deswegen gerade dieses Hotel gebucht, da im Internet beides genannt wird. Sind zwar ausreichend Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung, aber hatte mir das wegen der Kinder direkt im Haus gewünscht und so gebucht.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Ein wirklich toller Kinderspielplatz mit Piratenschif und viel Sand und ganz vielen anderen Spiel- und Klettermöglichkeiten für kleine und grosse Kinder sowie einer kleinen Gartenwirtschaft liegen sozusagen gleich ums Eck im Kensington Park. Fantastisch zum Austoben für Kinder zwischen all dem Sightseeing!!!

günstiges Hotel an zentraler Lage
Einziger sehr richtig negativ auffallender Punkt ist die Tatsache, dass die Dusche nicht richtig funktionierte.
