Run down place.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!I booked a double room with ensuite. A double room implies a DOUBLE ROOM!. This was a single room with double bed oh the toilette seat is placed near a wall which is obstructing my left leg..so I had to sit like a 9 month women about to deliver the baby with her legs wide open. The room door had strong reclosers!!the DOOR WILL RECLOSE evry time I tried to take a bag inside door kept on banging on my hand..it nearly hit my 2 months old while we were taking her in!!!..on checkin My wife asked the member of staff to help her with the luggage as she had a 2month baby and I wasn't with her at the time of checking In..the member of staff who wasn't reluctant to help a customer (A LADY CUSTOMER WITH A YOUNG CHILD) with her luggage. Cleanliness was just RUBBISH!! the rubbish on the stairs would never gona leave your shoes till your graves! Very warm in the middle of JULY!!the sound of aircon in the room was like a sound of a BOEING 747 ready to roll on your heads. Lazy staff

The sleep in(not a hotel) is located near both Heathrow airport and Westminster, which is great. The bathroom was very small and when the toilet flushes it takes forever to fill the tank back up with water. Long wait before a bath. Whenever I wanted to take a bath it was a chore. I spent long periods trying to regulate the water to the right temperature so I could have a bath. In the middle of my bath the temperature would suddenly change, so I was either jumping aside because the water was too hot or too cold. It was horrible. I went to the hotel because I bought a vacation package. If this package was not paid for I would have made an immediate U-turn when I entered the sleep-in lobby. It was not a pleasant looking lobby. I am already planning other trips to London with friends, but I will never stay at this sleep-in again.

The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean but the location was a bit out of the way. Bus and rail station was about a 10 minute walk. For the price compared to the other hotels available was ok. I would stay there again.

Recommended but with the NOISE warning. Convenient location; friendly welcome; older hotel with a clean comfortable room, well equipped with tea/coffee maker, shower, en-suite bathroom. Good value for price. Directly under a Heathrow take-off runway; thus very noisy until after midnight. Did not eat included breakfast due to early AM flight.

Accommodation for people on a budget and close to Heathrow Airport.

Nice hotel not too far from the airport. Since they are a budget hotel I did not understand the reason why someone has to walk you to the room (well that is order to get a tip). I know hot to turn a key, thank you very much. Everything else was nice, clean, and very friendly staff. They have complimentary breakfast which I found to be good and a nice time saver. Will use them again if I am in the area.

A 9" television sitting on a wall mount that wasn't designed for it, easy to fall off. It gets 3 BBC stations poorly via the rabbit antanae attached. The water pressure from the faucets and shower pulse when turned on. Fresh towels are delivered daily, and the bed it made for you. Breakfast is served 8-10 on weekends, 7-9 on weekdays. Cereal and Milk. The staff was useless for any questions, even "how do I a dial an international call from this phone?". The phone was in the lobby just feet from their counter. They could not produce any pamphlets with information on the public transit system which are free, but there were many pamphlets (30+) advertising various things. If you want a place to sleep and a shower when you wake up, this establishment offers you this and little else. The bed was shabby, there was no phone in the room (and thus no wake up service or room service). Pretty bare bones. Spiders were on my bed regularly.

The Channins Hounslouw was close to the airport but the rooms were very small, had no screens on the windows, the bed was crooked, the toilet was crooked, the bathroom floor was warped and the internet service was not working. The hotel manager was verbally abusive to his staff. The bathroom was very small. The hotel had no adaptor plugs for international travelers, so I had purchase one on my own. The plus side was that it was close to an airport bus station and close to a train station. I've travelled a lot in developing countries so none of this surprised me and I could take it in stride, but I expected better in England.
