The staff could not help enough,
The staff could not help enough, the rooms were gorgeous and the hallways, staircases and all public rooms were absolutely beautiful lit at night by candles. I would jump at the chance to stay there again. Nothing I can complain about at all.

Good location, fairly nice
The Charing Cross is in a great location, basically just off of Trafalgar Square. I found the price a little steep for the quality and have stayed in other London properties that I thought were significantly nicer for less. The Executive King room was quite big for British standards. There was nothing really wrong with the property, it just wasn't outstanding. However, the location was brilliant.

Accessible and gracious
The Thistle Charing Cross, London was a wonderful choice for us. When the lady in reservations found we were celebrating our 30th anniversry, she made sure we had a suite with a pretty view. This hotel is accessible for my motorized scooter and the staff graciously helped us with accessibility issues whenever we asked. The room was well equipped with iron,ironing board, hair dryer and multiple plugs for adapting appliances from other countries. Housekeeping kept the room serviced regardless of what time we went out and they made sure we always had enough coffee. The elevators were quick and convenient. The air conditioning was more than adequate. The location could not have been better for sightseeing, for dining or for people watching.

Gute Lage, alte Zimmer
Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, es liegt 1 min vom Trafalgar Square, 4 min vom Leicester Square und 8 min vom Piccadilly Circus. Das Hotel ist dabei im selben Gebäude wie die Zug- und Metrostation Charing Cross. Die Zimmer die wir gebucht haben (billigste Kategorie) waren leider schon etwas abgenutzt und heruntergekommen. Insbesondere der Teppich und das Badezimmer waren renovierungsbedürftig. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist auch nicht sehr gut, das Hotel war relativ teuer.

Bra läge.
Detta hotell har ett utmärkt läge i anslutning till t-banestationen Charing Cross. Vi tog oss lätt från Paddington och Heathrow Express ända fram till hotellet. Rummet var fräscht och rent, vi saknade dock en uppsättning handdukar vid ankomst men detta åtgärdades snabbt av hotellpersonalen. Vi tyckte frukosten var dyr på hotellet och valde istället att äta på några av alla de caféerna som finns i närheten. Promenad avstånd till Regent street och Oxford street. Passar den som gillar shopping gatorna kring Soho.

Great location
Location was excellent right in th emiddle of everything. Even though the hotel is located right next to busy city center, there wasnät any noise from the traffic. Breakfast wasn't included in the offer but we bought it separately. For two person it was 24 euros/morning. Quite expensive but it was worth it. The room wasn't very modern, it was a bit dirty and small but suited us well since we didn'nt spend too much time inside. Window looked right to an inner court, not so beautifull sight for sure. I would recommend if location is what matters to you. If you're looking for luxury, be sure that you have a proper room.

Zentraler geht's fast nicht!
Wunderschönes Hotel im Zentrum von London. Ruhig - im Gegensatz zu anderen Meinungen. Zimmer sind sehr sauber, vielleicht einigen jedoch zu klein. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück lecker. Immer gerne wieder! Nur zu empfehlen.

Perfekte Lage

Super Lage, sehr tolles Hotel!
Das Hotel liegt nahe des Trafalgar Square und gerade neben der Station Chairing Cross - zu Fuss ist alles prima erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Aufenthalt war toll und ich würde das Hotel sofort weiter empfehlen.

Mainio sijainti
Junior Suite oli oikein mukava. Ongelmat huoneen Safetyboxin kanssa aiheuttivat turhia hankaluuksia. Huolto kävi 4 kertaa kolmena päivänä ennen kuin kaapin toiminta normalisoitui. Asia oli hankala, koska tavaroita ei saanut välillä kaapista ulos ilman huoltomiestä ja ase vaikutti aikatauluihin. Tässä tuhraantui aihaa, eikä henkilökunta oikein tuntunut ottavan asiaa tosissaan. Hotelliaamiainen ei ole missään tapauksensa normaalin hintansa arvoinen (~22£), mutta respasta sain alennusvouchereita, jolloin hinta oli "enää" 12£.
