Charing Cross - A Guoman Hotel

lovely welcome by the staff, however when we arrived in our room there was a very strong smell of cigarett smoke, we do not smoke, the room other than that was lovely and the sofa bed made up already for my son.If the room had been checked they would have noticed the smoke and opened a window! we requested a new room, they moved us and that room was also very nice but the sofa bed obviously was not ready but the porter brought all the bedding with us when we changed room and said some one would be along to make up the bed, this was approx 3pm and we went of for the rest of the day, arrived back at 11.30pm ready for bed to find the bed had not been made up and the bedding had gone! so we telephoned reception it took them 30 minutes to find some bedding and arrive at our room with itl. ~ All the staff were very apologetic and I did mention when we checked out I was not happy and again they just apologised and said would look into this, the deputy manager later telephoned me to say their had been a comunicaon problem between us moving rooms and house keeping! But the room should not have been smelly in the first place so not the standard you would expect from this hotel.

Clueless staff, but great location which makes it a steal at those rates.

Totally perfect location in every way, city center, right over the tube, buses & taxis right at door. Very clean, quiet, happy helpful staff. No negatives at all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a great experience, we had good time, the hotel is central, nice rooms, romantic atmosphere, very good restaurant

The hotel rooms were described as a room with 1 king bed and 1 twin bed and 1 king bed. When we arrived in London I had to pay an extra 175 pounds or $283 for a biger room. The room we reserved for 3 could not have been any smaller. There was 1 king bed and a pullout couch and nothing else . The couch actually touched the bed leaving no room to walk arround. I kept one of the small rooms for myself and paid the extra$283 for the 3 daughters Very dissapointed with the rooms I understand Europe hotels I have been there at least 40 different trips and know the rooms are smaller than here

We visited London for a four day holiday with children. The hotel is comfortable with spacious rooms. The location was excellent for our purposes. Good and friendly service in the lobby. Good breakfast buffet. A bit expensive though.

We really enjoyed staying in The Charing Cross Hotel. On entering the tasteful reception area, we were greeted by curtious and friendly staff. The room was large enough for 2 adults + one 15yr old, with lots of room to spare, despite the largest bed I have ever seen + a double sofa bed. We would definately return there given the opportunity.

Detta hotell har ett utmärkt läge i anslutning till t-banestationen Charing Cross. Vi tog oss lätt från Paddington och Heathrow Express ända fram till hotellet. Rummet var fräscht och rent, vi saknade dock en uppsättning handdukar vid ankomst men detta åtgärdades snabbt av hotellpersonalen. Vi tyckte frukosten var dyr på hotellet och valde istället att äta på några av alla de caféerna som finns i närheten. Promenad avstånd till Regent street och Oxford street. Passar den som gillar shopping gatorna kring Soho.

Wir haben drei Nächte in diesem Hotel übernachtet und alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Die Lage ist perfekt um London von hier aus zu erkunden.

Schönes Hotel mit viktorianischem Flair. Optimale Anbindung ans Underground.Netz. Freundliches Personal. Zimmer neu adaptiert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
