Chiswick Moran Hotel London

I have stayed many times at this hotel as it is close to my clients. Every time I come I am hugely disappointed with the service as are my other colleagues from around the world. Continually there are issues with internet, availability of adaptors, workability of the TV and other equipment in the room and many other problems. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, nor will I ever stay here again.

Cost: High, especially since it's in the middle of no where. Location: It's relatively close to Heathrow but not served by airport shuttles. You're better off getting a more centrally located hotel served by high speed trains or airport shuttles. Public Transport: True it's close to Gunnesbury station, but trains are often late and the line is awfully slow. The station is dirty and very sketchy. Steep stairs to the platform, no lift, especially if you have luggage. There are buses at the front door, but it would take you ages to go anywhere from here by bus. Hotel: Come on, no free wifi, except in the lobby! Their website's claim of free wifi is basically not true, The daily cost internet access in your room is prohibitive. We did not eat at the hotel since the menu was quite pathetic. The choice of eating places around the hotel is not great either. Staff: Very helpful and pleasant. Bottom line: definitely not going back.

Great location for Chiswick, west London and is truly 25 mins from Heathrow. Hotel is only a few years old with modern style. Room was large for London, but let down by average servicing. Had to ask for an extra towel every single day (only got one for the two of us), plus replacement coffee. Food service trays left outside the room in the AM were still there 7+ hours later. Internet in the room was expensive at 15 pounds/day. We enjoyed the bar: good atmosphere and wide range of drinks, plus free Internet. Staff were helpful but not really friendly.

Overall the hotel was comfortable, clean and in very close proximity to subway transportation. It was very easy to hop on the tube and visit all popular tourist sites. The restaurant in the hotel lobby was a bit overpriced but the food was good. I recommend walking down the road 10 minutes to a small downtown area with some cafes and small restaurants with cheaper good food. Most of the staff was helpful answering questions but not all. I would say the hotel is better suited for business travelers.

Expensive concerning internet fees and high deposits for adaptor plugs etc.

Really comfy room. The breakfast and evening meal we had were very good and very good value. the bar was good although a little pricey. Not the most comfortable place to enjoy a drink, better seating and a little more light would have been better. The staff were really helpful and the only complaint for this hotel would be the lack of tourist information, brochures etc. On the whole would deffo recommend to others.

A clean and good hotel in a quiet area which is very close to the tube. If you are tourist looking for convenience, this is probably not your hotel. This was not our first time in London. We know that, at the rate we paid, we could only get a 3-star hotel in the town area. We stayed for 4 nights in September 2010 and it was very pleasant. The quality of their restaurant is also very good and price is reasonable. Our only comment is on the shower head. The hotel is using those enviromentally friendly head which limits the amount of water it releases. They had probably selected the most "friendly" shower head. We had hard time getting ourselves "cleaned" and we ended up spending much longer time in the shower!!

Cigarette smoke smell in the (non smoking) bedroom. Perhaps entering from ventilation system. Complaint to hotel did not change situation although staff expressed concern.

the chiswick moran hotel was a good london location with close access to the underground and an easy 10 to 15 minute ride to most london spots. The hotel is on the "green" District line that moves throughout city. The rooms were a little dated in style for U.S visitors but were clean and comfortable. Hotel bar and restaurant provided decent food and service but Chiswick itself proved a better find. Chiswick itself has a nice little downtown village filled with all varieties of food choices and small shops. I would stay at this hotel again.

I was looking for a hotel close to the Reges business center and this hotel was only a five minute walk.
