2 night escape
I live in London yet I needed a central place to host my girl friend. Room was much larger then we expected. We even head a stylish kitchen. Very happy with the stay.

last trip to UK for awhile
overall the experience was a good one, great location for seeing all the major london sites, easy to find, staff was friendly. Cleaning staff could have been better, went out one day and came back to a sticky floor which was'nt sticky when we left in the morning. Kleenex box was not refilled when it was empty after the first day and stayed empty the whole four days. Minor things, nothing serious it was a good stay and would recommed the hotel to friends and family

Centrally Located Value
At the risk of finding this hotel fully booked next time I'm in London let me say it was a great experience. The room was clean and bright, the kitchen equipped, the desk staff very helpful and the price is right. The tv is not great and the matinence staff for small glitches does not speak English so one needs patience but I would definitely stay there again.

You won't need your Oyster card.
Great location, fairly priced. Rooms are clean but a bit clinical - no couch just two hard chairs. Spacious with a nice bathroom. Good kitchenette.

Great place to stay in the heart of London
Close to everything we wanted to see an do. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room clean, beds comfortable. A few hassles with their renovation, but not problematic.

Boutique Hotel, BOUTIFUL Location!!!
My daughter and I LOVED this hotel. The staff was unbelieveably friendly and accommodating. They made us feel very special. The room was exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable beds with down comforters and a small kitchen to heat up your leftovers. We would stay at Citadines in Trafalger Square next time for sure!

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you want to see a theatrical performance, either go to the half price ticket booths the day of or day before OR go directly to the theatre a half hour before the performance and get good seats too.

An exciting London Adventure
Holding our breath on the tube from Heathrow only added to our anticipation of the Citadines and what we would find there. Once we arrived at our Northumberland stay, my wife and I were very pleased at the accomodations. We quietly but harmlessly snickered about our receptionist, who tried his best to understand two jet-lagged Americans. After reading several Citadine reviews before we left the US, we welcomed the neatness, cleanliness and friendliness of the Citadine facility and staff. Would we stay in London at the Trafalgar Citadines again?? Most assuredly so! Our travel to London was more intimate due to the proximity to the Thames, Westminister and Trafalgar Square. Thank you, Citadines!

A good and generous walk-about could take you to any one of London's finest and most interesting attractions. Plenty of fine restaurants and abundant shopping were available within walking distance of the Citadine.

GREAT location!
the location couldn't be any better! when you get off the embankment metro(~100m away) to get to the hotel, there is a 24hr.A&P along with coffee/food & shops there. if you leave the hotel, cross the street & go right (towards traf. square), stay on the road as it bends left & there is a 24hr. Tesco there on your left(~200m?). The laundry was extremely convenient in the basement: 5 pounds wash & 4 for dryer.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Sherlock Holmes Pub is closed for renovations (exit lobby & go right), but when you see it on your right, go towards it & past it down the narrow street & there is the Ship & Shovell pub--great, friendly place, all ages, maybe 3 min. walk from hotel, 3.50 for 1 pint.
