Comfort Inn Edgware Road W2

The hotel is about a 6 min walk from Edgware Rd station on the Circle and Metropolitan line station exit. A bit further from the Bakerloo Line exit. Paddington station is down Praed St and took about 15 mins to walk to. Initially took a taxi to the hotel which cost about 8 pounds from Paddington station. The area is mainly populated by small corner shops and local restaurants. The entrance to the hotel is tucked in amongst all the shop signs. From the outside, it's a bit disappointing. Walking into the hotel, you are met by a receptionist desk, NO lobby! The staff were polite, not necessarily friendly. We got there by 12:50pm and she refused to check us in till 2pm. She gave us the luggage room key to go drop our luggage and return at 2pm. Quite frustrating when you just arrived from an international destination after a 7 hr flight. The elevator is really small. Checked into our room when we got back at past 4 pm. Room was bigger than expected. We were on the 3rd floor and could here the street when the window was opened. Not bad when the window is closed. The bathroom was neat and upgraded. The room was comfortable. If you need an iron and ironing board, you need to ask for one at the lobby. The hotel is energy efficient. You must leave your room key card in the slot by the door which keeps your lights on! Also, get a voucher for your free wifi from the lobby. WiFi was good. Just a little annoying to have to keep logging in and out. Breakfast was basic continental. They had hard boiled eggs too along with yogurt, bread and pastries.. Not bad, really. All in all, the hotel is not bad. It's a little further from Paddington than I'd have preferred. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel so buy a one day travel card which allows you to ride the trains and buses all day. Edgware Rd is a busy road, and like another reviewer noted, it's the Arab neighborhood, per say. I'd recommend the hotel only based on value for a budget hotel but not on location and neighborhood ambience. I kinda regretted not paying the extra 150 dollars for somewhere else closer to Hyde Park.

Decent place to stay for the money. Room was a bit hot, despite having the window open, but overall hotel was quiet, clean with a simple decent continental breakfast. Good value for money

Well located for the tube (good choice of tubelines run from Edgeware Road u/g station) - prob a 5-10 minute straight walk to get there). Walkable from Paddington station as well. Well priced and included continental breakfast which seems unusual for London. The room was a good size and tv decent. Only gripe was with lady receptionist who was not at all welcoming or friendly. All in all would stay there again.

I got to the hotel and was trying to check-in but had a horrible time with the front desk person, she was telling me that I needed to show her my cc to see if it matches up w/the one on file but since I booked through orbitz there was a different # and she couldn't understand that and was threatening to cancel my reservation. when we finally got into the room, the tv only had 2 channels and had horrible picture, always went in and out. During the night, the air conditioner was so incredibly loud and annoying. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast & excellent value.

Sehr Zentrumnahes Hotel, Gute Bus und U-Bahn Anbindung...Arabisches Stadtviertel aber angenehm...Sehr viele kleine Lebensmittel Läden...Hotel Preis Leistung stimmt...Wenn man keine große Ansprüche stellt zufriedenstellend.

Typisch englischer Teppichboden kann nicht zum Wohlfühlen einladen, ansonsten stimmt aber der Preis von durchschnittlich 80 Pfund am Tag aufgrund der guten Lage zur Innenstadt.Frühstück ist o.K., Perken für 20 Pfund am Tag in der Nähe möglich.

這間飯店硬體設備以三星級來說滿不錯的，但服務態度需很差。個人分享一下經驗: 1.當天check in時，需要將住宿全額付清(後三天費用)後才同意交房間key給我，但現場我與服務人員說我的錢方在行李箱內，且由於我先前己付第一天的住宿費用，能否我把行李放好後再立刻拿錢下來，服務人員怎麼說就是不同意，非得我們在check in那開行李拿錢。 2.感覺櫃台人員(三位)都不太親切，說話心不在焉，什麼請求機乎都是NO..感覺很怕事。 3.Check in當天還與我們抱願hotel club給予他們賺的錢太少。 總之我認為此酒店，硬體設備良好，服務態度很差! 請大家三思~

離地鐵站步行約要10分鐘，若有大件行李會較不方便。附近可以購物和餐飲的選擇並不多，環境也不是非常好。飯店比網站中的狹小，兩人入住有點擁擠，早餐沒有想像中的多樣。若是經濟有限可考量，若沒有建議選擇更好的飯店入住。
