good location
Lots of restaurants nearby and a great grocery store 1 block away. The breakfast was nice, but not as good as items from grocery. We walked from the hotel to Buckingham Palace. Close to Victoria Station where the tours take off.

Basic, but slightly better than other London budget hotels
It's very average and perfectly fine considering what it is and where it is (near central London). Came with some friends while visiting the city, and the room itself was a good size while the bathroom was roughly the size of that on an airplane. However, comparing it to other budget hotels in London it is a bit better. So it goes. 5-10min walk to Vauxhall metro station.

Location and Price
Arrived late, if you come by tube make sure you have the hotel mapped from the tube station. At 12:30 a.m. the people around the station did not know where South Lambeth Road was. Staff was very cordial even at that hour. Room was great, cozy and clean. Up and out the next morning after leaving my baggage in the luggage locker. Definitely recommend for those doing things in the Vauxhall area.

Preferred budget hotel in London
Preferred budget hotel in London stayed here 5 times accessible without incuring congestion charges, easy walk into West End, short walk to tube, bus stops outside hotel. Ideal for short capital break, clean comfortable.

Although the room was clean and spacious the hotel facilities were very bad there was no bar only a fridge with over priced bottles of beer and soft drinks, also the hotel charged £20.00 per night to park your car in their car park which is way over priced and for that reason I would never stay there again as I felt I was ripped off.

A well situated budget priced
A well situated budget priced hotel just down from Vauxhall Station. Booked a BudgetLite room but was actaually allocated a family romm at no extra cost. Some renovation work going on on the second floor but no problem.

I booked this hotel at very short
I booked this hotel at very short notice. Great location - a 10 minute walk to the London Eye and not far away from the Vauxhall Tube and overground. A 30 minute walk along the Thames to Embankment and not much further to the West End. Room always clean but carpets needed replacing (which I think they were doing whilst I was there).
