Not what we expected!
Location of the hotel was not ideal but once we figured out public transportation - and was no longer a primary source of income of the local taxis- the hotel loaction was no longer an issue. This experience was not the same when it came to the staff. Although it seemed as if they all had good intentions, they seemed to lack the "customer centric" focus, training and experience. Some of the staff members could even be considered rude... Would not stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel
My daughter and I stayed this hotel for one night as a treat for her 18th birthday. The location was easy to find and in a lovely area of London. The room was clean and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Using google maps we found that No82 buses from the centre of London were only a short journey and several per hour.

Expensive for nothing
It was extermly expensive for nothing, over 200 pounds a night and it doesnt include breakfast, even water!!! The mini bar was empty. The service was very slow. I asked for towels and they brought after 2 hours. the only thing is good the location next to the park and high street. they need to add value to the expensive price.... my first and last time at this place.

Nice accommodations, good price
It wasn't right in the city, but it did offer 2 twin beds which was incredibly hard to find in London. The price was reasonable and the hotel was quite nice. We definitely got a good deal here!

Entertainment tip:
Short drive from hotel
Catch a show in the theatre district. It's only a few stops on the tube and totally worth it.

Adequate, nothing more.
Average looking: room was fairly ordinary, but reliable. Location is also adequate: I took cabs rather than bother with the Tube. Dealing with the staff is a total comedy. They are very polite, but good luck fixing any issues or concerns. I was given someone elses receipt upon checkout, and still havent received my own. I called them today, and was told that I needed to call back at another time to speak with Billing. Really? How hard is it to just email it to me?

Service excellent. Only criticism
Service excellent. Only criticism is the very poor internet access. Wireless access in my bedroom was intermittent and there was not the facility to log on and log off - had to use 1 hour of access in one go.

Decent location, but beware the bar!
We mainly chose the Danubius Hotel Regents Park for its location since it was close to Tube stations and Regents Park, but we ended up being quite happy we chose the hotel in the end. The room was very clean and comfortable, the complementary tea/coffee service in the room was wonderful, and the concierge service was extremely helpful in getting us a car to the airport and with anything else we needed. Restaurants, a Tube station, numerous bus stops, and convenience stores are all within about a half-mile walk from the hotel, and, if you're a Beatles fan (like we are!), you'll be happy to know you're only 10 minutes away from Abbey Road. The only complaints we had were there was no way to get ice for the room (but we are not seasoned European travelers, so this may be the same elsewhere), and the bar was very expensive; cocktails were over 9 pounds each! The restaurants in the hotel have good food, but are also quite pricey (typically about 15 pounds/person), so, if you're on a budget, look elsewhere for your meals. Basically, if you're looking for a decent, quiet hotel (we never saw any kids there) with a great location, this is a good choice for a hotel.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Richoux (near Barclay's off of Wellington Road, about a half mile from the hotel) is an excellent little bistro for any meal; typical meals are about 10 pounds/person
