A fabulous small hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge. Nothing was too much trouble for the delightful staff. If you are looking for cool chic, this is not the hotel for you but if you want comfort, service and traditional class this is a great choice.

Our New Home Away from Home
After a week in Berlin, we arrived in London and were made to feel as though we had been there many times before by the Egerton House staff. Friendly, there when you need them almost automatically. You think, "gee, I would like a martini" and Esly is there almost like magic. From breakfast to dinner, service is impeccable. Need a cab? It is there. Need advice? It is perfect. We love this hotel and we have stayed in many the world over. I highly recomend it. It is convenient to shopping, the tube, the museums....the right choice. A previous review highlighted the assistant manager. My thought is that every member of the staff take the pride and ownership as they are all the managers.

Short walk from hotel
Both Harrod's and Harvey Nichols are a short walk, with so much between. Enjoy the sites of London.

Posh, private and perfect
My partner and I just returned from a week at the Egerton House Hotel. It was a mixed travel schedule with myself on business and my partner on leisure, however we both felt equally at home at the Egerton. From the comfortable, upscale surroundings to the discreet but always helpful service, the Egerton found that delicate balance so rarely achieved in small boutique properties. The location is ideal located between two tube stops and of course the posh shops of Brompton Road are on your doorstep.Breakfast is a fairly sumptuous deal, but the cocktails in the stylish pocket bar will either kill you or cure you. The smoothest martinis you'll ever taste with a service flair that's second to none. For those less alcoholically inclined, the afternoon tea is delicious – great assortment and not the usual watercress and cucumber bits. Though Rosewater macaroons? May want to rethink that. All in all, the Egerton proved to be our new home away from home in London. The staff were all a notch above expectations, but a special mention goes out to the tireless [...] and his multiple shifts and Deputy GM [...], the vivacious island of serenity in the sea of chaos, who made what could have been a bad thing so right for her guests. They make this Red Carnation hotel a true English rose.
