Just a place to sleep.
When we arrived at the hotel we were informed the reservation had been cancelled. After first saying there was nothing available they did end up "finding" a room but only for part of the stay. They were going to send us to their sister hotel, Premeir that was much nicer, for the remainder of the vacation. The location for both was pretty bad. Our taxi driver even told us not to go out at night. The room was very small that my friend and I basically tripped over each other to move around. The staff was very nice.

Worked out well
The men at the desk were very pleasant and helpful. The location is convienient to the tube, and buses. There is a McDonalds (opens at 6:00), KFC, and Subway sandwich moments away. Accross the main street is a public library with free internet access. The rooms are very clean, no bugs, or smells. The feel is modest modern. We liked this hotel it is about a 30 minute pleasant walk to the river. Elephant and Castle is a trafic hub about 5 minutes walk.

Average, clean, but needs new matresses
The hotel was clean. The service was good. But the bed was back-breaking. The hotel desperately needs new matresses.

Location, location & value for money
The hotel is at walking distance of Elephant & Castle underground station (end-station of the Bakerloo-line): Charing Cross is 4 stations away, Piccadilly Circus 5 and Oxford Circus 6 (all without changing trains). The hotel is situated in a working class area, however I felt totally safe. Lots of (cheap) restaurants, super-markets etc. The hotel-staff was friendly and the -rather small- room well equipped (shower-cublicle, multi-channel TV, ventilator, central heating etc). The only negative point was that it was quite noisy, being near a police-station and 'en route' (for flights) to one of London's busy airports.

Good value hotel. Room small
Good value hotel. Room small but clean. Fine as a base, for somewhere to sleep. Did not use any facilities as they were closed during the time we spent on site. Continental breakfast expensive at £9 a head so used local greasy-spoon instead. A fair walk from the nearest tube at Elephant and Castle.

Single and Travels Much
Good Trip
I, a girl traveling alone, thought it would be alright to stay near my family and friends. But when my flight got canceled and I arrived in London at 12am, I realized that the location of my hotel, is not so great. It is in a very scary area of town. I ended up staying with my friends instead of traveling back to the hotel late at night. The rooms are good. They are clean and the service is great. The rooms are a bit crowded, with no a/c.

Super rapport qualité/prix
Super rapport qualité/prix, bon emplacement (à 5-10 min à pied de la gare et de la station de métro). Les chambres sont un peu mal isolées donc parfois un peu bruyant mais dans l'ensemble très bon hôtel, à recommander!
