Nice, but unorganized
The hotel did not have my reservation [...], which was strange. [...] Fortunately, they had rooms available, so it wasn't a huge deal. The guy at the check-in desk barely spoke English (he spoke Spanish), which I thought was a bit odd. He was quite difficult to understand. It's a fine hotel for a night or two, but I wouldn't say it was the best experience I have had in London.

Proximity to Hyde Park
The hotel is well located in close proximity to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. It is not as well appointed (in our opinion) as other four star hotels. The disabled access room was not accessible in a wheel chair without getting out of the chair and up a stair. The included breakfast was great. Overall, for the price, it was a good night stay.

Could be improved a lot ! a whole lot !!
As I was checking in another client was complaining about the minimal size of his room and got switched to something just acceptable... I actually went to see his room before he accepted it... then asked for a possibly better room. Obviously clients booking via ORBITZ get the very minimum rooms and mine was about 125 square feet ( BR included ) Having forgotten the paid rate, and having to spend only one night in the hotel I did not make a fuss... Otherwise the staff is pleasant, the rooms tiny but clean and it seems air conditionning is being installed in the rooms. The bathrooms are very small, but clean ( so small actually that one has to sit on the toilet sideways in order not to get hurt by the toilet paper dispenser ) The bagged coffee and tea with the electric boiler are of such low quality that they are not drinkable... better not to offer that type of convenience if it is to serve such low quality stuff !!! Had to spit out the tea after trying it ! Internet access free is a plus, but with onlhy two units problems when some clients abuse the use and stay on the computers longer than necessary to do urgent stuff for which those computers are there. Good location in a nice neighbohood but a bit far from the main London attractions.

Overall clean and in good location
Room was small and hot. Holes in wall in the bedroom, the bathroom had spackle marks on the wall outside the tub and the bar of soap was pitiful. Good breakfast.

the hotel was near the Marble Arch which was our starting point and easy to find on maps. Buses to sites very easy to get to from out hotel...or a healthy walk.
