Hilton London Paddington hotel

I stayed in 7 different hotels while on business in the UK and this one was by far the best. Friendly staff, perfect location, big comfortable room. The only downfall was parking my rental car was a bit of a hassle since you had to park it at Paddington station car park and was quite a hike from the hotel.

I've stayed here twice in one week so I was in more than one room. It's a large hotel and the experience was consistent on both visits; rooms are clean, comfortable and feel 'new' despite being in an older building. The hotel is literally connected to Paddington station which has food, stores, and TWO different stops on the Tube (subway) so you can go nearly anywhere without walking far. Best of all, it's CHEAP compared to an equivalent hotel around central London with 'american' sized beds and bathrooms. would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very handy if you have to catch a flight since it's in Paddington Station. You can just walk to the Heathrow Express in a couple of minutes. I have stayed at this hotel before and it's getting a little tired. The mattress has seen better days. The rooms are large which is rare for London but the neighborhood is very touristy and it makes you feel as if you could be anywhere. I wouldn't stay more than a couple of days at this hotel.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location for getting to and from Heathrow. Only complaint is that the Internet connection could be faster at times.

I have stayed in dozens of London hotels as this is by far the best. Large very comfortable room, great service, great location for travel anywhere in London and environs, good stores nearby and the best Spanish restaurant (La Pirata de Tapas) within a couple of blocks.

Came to London for the Holidays. Arrived on Christmas day and was lucky to stay at this hotel because the only public transportation running that day was a bus that stopped at Paddington station. Hotel was ok for the price and location. The carpet could be changed, a little frayed on some parts. Enjoyed the hotel amenities: gym and restaurants. The only drawback is that they do not have free WIFI. It is rather expensive and so I opted to use the internet cafes outside the hotel.

Usual Hilton standard, good rooms, excellent staff, meals very good and great location for Heathrow

Hotel is right next to the train station where the Heathrow Express drops you off. Hotel was clean, included a free breakfast each morning. Easy to use the underground which was right across the street. Staff was great, but was a little difficult when I rejected them charging me for movies I didn't purchase. It turned out that the people before us used it, but after continued discussion with Sunday manager,he finally realized the error and changed my bill. If you like a good walk, the walk from the hotel to the Zoo will really give you a nice feel about the non tourists areas of London.

Great to be able to get off the train and take a lift to the hotel, but the price is high and my room was flooded with stagnant water when I arrived that apparently no one knew about (which seems hard to believe).

Location can't be beat IF you are taking a train from Paddington
