Probably a good hotel for the Olympics
If you are like me and are making last minute, low budget reservations and don't mind walking, then this may be a good hotel for you. There isn't much around the hotel in Stratford and if you intend to call a cab, you will need to stand at the door since there is no parking for taxi's. My driver was told he could park half a mile away and walk back to tell me he was there. The hotel offers wifi, but the signal was so weak that after I paid a pound and a half for 30 minutes of access, I had to sit in the lobby for marginal speed. This hotel is clean, well built, and cheap. If you are looking for more, look elsewhere.

Not Applicable
If you intend to eat dinner, do so before you go to the hotel. There were few options and I passed no open restaurants on a few walks to the Tube.

This was a good deal and a very handy spot. Will be much more in demand closer to Olympics and local infrastructure is getting finished all the time. Rooms were a good size for London.

You're on your own
The first night I spent here, there was water standing near the commode, the TV wasn't hooked up to a video source, the mattress had a crater in it that sucked you towards the middle of the bed like vortex, and there was an extra bed on the floor (shades of college days). When I complained they said they could put me in another room, but I would have to leave my luggage in a storage area. At the end of the day they couldn't get my luggage out of the storage area. It was unusually warm, but the air conditioner didn't work. When I reported the failure to the front desk they said they were not able to turn the air on in the fall. But I could have another fan (I guess to stir up more of the hot air). Internet service was unreliable and expensive. The almost $20 nightly fee got you a connection that was so sloooooooow you couldn't tell if it was down or not. A word to the wise. Save the $20 every day and go to some of the local hubs where there are free, reliable, wifi and good pub grub.

"Just OK"
The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The only reason I wouldn't stay there again is that it wasn't close enough to all the tourist spots and nightlife. The tube station is about a half mile walk from the hotel (not too bad), but if you want to stay out late you'll have to take a high-priced cab ride.
