London
This hotel is perfectly located in central London. Many of the city sights are within walking distance and the tube is across the street. Upon check-in we were upgraded to a spacious executive room with a jacuzzi tub. Our only complaints are that the toilet is kind of wedged in between the wall and the tub. At the very least they need to relocate the toilet paper holder. Also, there were some fairly large cobwebs in the room and a missing drawer handle.

We stayed for 13 nights at the Holiday Inn Mayfair and felt it was a very good value. The room was clean and we were surprised how quiet it was at night even though we were in the heart of London. The air conditioning system was very quiet and we appreciated that it did not blast cold air on our heads at night like some places we have stayed in. The windows open so we could also enjoy fresh air. We walked to everything and there was a great selection of coffee shops and restaurants within a 5 block radius. The housekeeping staff was very good and we were happy to tip them on our leave. The restaurant/bar area was a bit stark for our taste so we mostly went out to sample the city. The wifi internet connection had a glitch one day. Would definately come back again.

Unbeatable Location for the Price
This is the fifth or sixth time that we have stayed at this hotel. They have definitely made efforts to upgrade although by American standards some will consider it to be a little run down. That being said, the location for the price is tough if not impossible to beat. Restaurants, the Underground, West End Theatre, Parks for those inclined to run in the morning are all right there.

The Wolseley for breakfast is fun and relatively reasonably priced although you should make reservations to be sure of a table.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Holiday Inn Mayfair London. Close to major attractions and a variety of eating places. Room quiet. TV provided convenient updates on the weather and transport options at a time of severe weather causing travel backlogs.

Very Impressed
This hotel was centrally located and the staff was exceptional. Upon arrival check in was very quick with less than a 5 minute transaction. I had not stayed at a Holiday Inn since college and it was very nice! Nicer than my college days.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
This Mayfair hotel is centrally located to many things. There is a Starbucks directly across the street, a museum was right around the corner and a grocery store was a half a block up the street. Oh, the train station was only one block away as well.
