Solid option in London
When I went the internet was down and had been down for a reported five days before I got there. It was not fixed for the four I stayed there and so one of their selling points was removed (the internet when working is of the pay as you go variety and you were required to plug your computer into a router via cable - I don't believe they had WiFi). That said the location was decent (right next to a tube stop on the circle line - the line that also had stops at the Tower of London and Paddington Station). There were plenty of pubs and restaurants in the general area, as it is more of a middle class residential area than a touristy one.

Try the Efes 2 Restaurant about a half block away on Great Portland Street. I had just traveled to England from Turkey, and this was the best Turkish food I'd had on my trip (including my time in Istanbul).

Older hotel, good location
This hotel was in a good location, within a block of an Underground station. We also walked from Oxford Circus area and it wasn't terrible. There were some good pubs for drinking and eating nearby. The hotel room seemed a bit older and small, but the size seemed normal for London standards. This hotel met our needs for price and location.

With the tube station only 1 block away,all of London was within easy reach.The location was quiet-away from noise and congestion.Had a great travel experience

Preiswertes Hotel
Nach anfänglicher Schweirigkeiten beim Einchecken, da eine Auszubildene an der Theke, hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber man ist in ca. 15 Gehminuten schon bei der Oxford Street. Den Piccady Circus erreicht man in ca. 35min.

Lontoossa reissannut
Perushyvä hotelli erinomaisella sijainnilla...
Parasta tässä hotellissa on sen sijainti ja alueen runsaat palvelut. Lähin metroasema Regent's Park sijaitsee n. 5 min kävelymatkan päässä josta pääsee mm. Oxford Streetille ja Piccadilly Circukselle todella nopeasti. Myös bussit kulkevat aivan vierestä ja taksit ajavat alueen läpi tiheästi. Alue on siistiä ja rauhallista. Aivan hotellin lähistöllä sijaitsee mm. 3 ruokakauppaa (yksi 24h) ja Starbuck Coffee. Hotellihuone oli varsin siisti ja hyvin varusteltu. Huoneen ilma tosin oli ajoittain hieman tunkkainen jota lisäsi huoneen kokolattiamatto. Aula ja muut yleiset tilat olivat siistit. Ravintolassa emme käyneet. Koko matkan aikana nautimme ainoastaan yhden aterian baarin puolella. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja auttavaista.

Pret A Manger -ketjun kahvila sijaitsee matkan varrella Regent's Park -metroasemalle kävellessä. Kahvilassa voi nauttia hyvän aamiaisen hotellin aamiaista halvemmalla.
