You Get What You Pay For

I was on a really tight budget, so I guess this hotel had to work for me. The location is pretty close to the main attractions if you don't mind a quick bus/tube (train) ride. The room was soo small! Two people couldnt' walk side by side - that's how much distance there is between the bed and the wall. There was one bed, a small TV with 5 channels (only 2 were in English, I believe). The good part was that the bathroom looked renovated. It was small, but clean. But I think I got lucky, I read reviews here about awful bathrooms. It had a window, and I believe there was no air conditioning. This is by no means a comfort hotel. It is a budget hotel, almost like a hostel, but you're lucky to have a separate room. They have no elevators. The sheets didn't look the cleanest, and I didn't really want to walk around barefoot on the carpet. But nonetheless, it was a room, it was an okay bed, with a key and a lock, and a pretty decent bathroom, with a mirror! And the hot water was there too, except it kept changing from time to time to hotter and colder, which was a bit frustrating. Make sure to BRING YOUR OWN SOAP AND SHAMPOO! That is a scarce thing there, if you're lucky.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Buy the Oyster Card and stay within Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the tube, that is where all the main attractions are. You can get an unlimited Oyster Bus/Tube pass and save money with unlimited rides, which helps a lot since you can just hop on and off any time you choose without worrying that you're paying for transportation.

Shopping tip: Long walk from hotel

Westfield London Shopping Centre is quite near. So is Shepherd's Bush tube station. You can take a bus there if you don't want to walk about 1km. And you can easily get to/from Victoria Station by bus C1.

Chambre sans fenêtre et clim HS !

Nous sommes tombé sur une chambre sans fenêtre et je pense qu'il y en avait plusieurs dans cet hôtel. C'était en été, donc nous avons subi une chaleur étouffante et pas possible d'aérer ! Nous avons donc essayé de mettre la clim, mais impossible de la faire marcher à un niveau correct (le personnel : "désolé, mais si on la mets plus fort, ça fait sauter les plombs") --> on a donc dû attendre 4h du matin avant d'avoir une température correcte dans la chambre... Certes la chambre était "bien équipée" comme mis dans le descriptif avec clim, frigo, TV et coffre-fort mais l'ensemble est vieillissant et la moitié des appareils ne marchent pas ou mal. Et cerise sur le gâteau, pas de télécommande pour la TV il fallait une caution de 10 livres et je n'avais que 8 sur moi : pas possible de négocier ! Je pense que vu l'état de la chambre un geste aurait été le minimum...

便宜，乾淨，但是非常小，離市區也有一點距離，最近的Metro

便宜，乾淨，但是非常小，離市區也有一點距離，最近的Metro站不好等車，但是真的很便宜XD
