Bad turned into good
I arrived at the hotel approximately at 2.00 am. The at the reception gave me a card on which both room no. and building no. were written. Before I made my reservation, I had read from the internet that the rooms facing the main street might be too noisy for guests who are sensitive and who have sleeping problem. For this reason I sent an e-mail to the hotel and requested a quiet room. Before getting the card, I asked the room clerk whether the room was quiet or not. He said "the room was quiet." By walking through the main street I finally reached the room. It was at the last floor of the building. I hardly opened the door. The room was very small. This was not a problem since I already knew that. What bothered me was: The room was used and it was not cleaned. Besides, the room was facing the main street and I could easily hear engine and wheel sounds of the vehicles passing thtough the street. I was so tired that I didn’t go to the reception again. The next day, I got up (in fact I slept only a few hours) and went to reception again. There was a young lady wearing eyeglasses at the reception. I told her everything. She apologised several times and promised to change my room. My room was changed that that, and the new room was really perfect compared to the previous one. It was bigger, clean, quiet and new-decorated room. The next three days, I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The breakfast was enough, but breakfast time is very early. It ends at 9 am. The location is good. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and there are three undergrand stations by 5 minutes walk. Considering the room rate, I prefer to stay in this hotel if they give me the same room.

Shouldn't be called Hote
The place is really a bunch of townhouses converted into single room hospitality services. More like student hostels. The room was tiny. No room for luggage, coats (hanger above the bed). Shower was so small had to shut off water and open the door to wash my feet. Staff was friendly and relative to London prices the cost was OK.

Weekend in London
I checked my heavy bag at Heathrow and easily walked the ten minutes from the Hammersmith tube station to the hotel. I was bumped from my earlier flight from Paris, so arrived late at the hotel to a smelly single room, with no window to open.. But despite the "fully booked" sign on the front door, the receptionist found me a double room, which was fine other than having no closet, with the clothes rack hanging over the other half of the double bed. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Altogether, a good value for the price.

Hotel 65 &Annex
This hotel would have received a higher rating until I checked out. Upon arriving at my next destination where I found I had left an item of clothing behind the bathroom door. Called numerous times always getting the run-around and being told they would get back to me. NEVER HAPPENED. Beware of leaving anything behind.

Great for the single traveler
The hotel was very good for me traveling alone as a woman. I also felt safe there ; including the location. Once you know where you actually are, the busses and the trains were perfect for traveling. The staff was super friendly and the Internet was included, which kept me in touch with my family. Restaurants across the street, the biggest mall about 6 blocks away, a supermarket 1 block away and a bus stop outside of the hotel. Biggest value was the breakfast with an army of girls to serve you. I did get a peaceful rest every night and yes, I would definitely stay there again for the value and peace of mind.

A city pass wil provide many tips & info on sites. Deciding ahead of time what you want to visit depending on the amount of time you have will save time, money, & confusion. Also - the underground trains will get you nearly everywhere you want to go.

Affordable, good for youth travelers
We stayed at hotel for a three nights; clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, free internet access in the hallway. Rooms are small, but clean. I would recommend this hotel for young travelers, with restricted budget.

Good value
Hotel looked it had just undergone some renovation and its general appearance was very good. Considering the Hotel was on a busy road, it was quiet in the hotel and I was able to get a really good night's sleep. Main problem - the internet did not work all the time I was there. The staff apologized for this and were generally friendly and helpful.

London copromises
Central London hotels are expensive. Hotel 65 is one of the few hotels that provides for a near-central location but remains affordable. The downside is that the single rooms are enlarged closets. The location is convenient. The Hammersmith stations provide both Picadilly and Central Lines linking the entire system include direct service to Heathrow. the hotel is made up of 14 former town houses cut up into small and tiny rooms. No amenities. Breakfast is included: toast, butter, two slices of cheese, jam, coffee or tea, juice and cereal. Large tour groups of students and backpackers.

A budget gem that beat Travelodge.
I stayed here as it was close to tube stations for an audition i had in central. The price was very agreeable. The staff i met were friendly and helpful and the place was clean and well run. The hotel is split of a few houses and i was lucky enough to be put in the newest house- the builders were still in one of the rooms but as soon as i arrived they downed tools for the day. The room had just been finished that day. I was in room 1A. A wonderful new bathroom suite, new tv and beds and it was at the back of the property so nice and quiet. Right across the road is a Cafe Rouge and Westfield is about a 7 min walk as is Superdrug and places to eat and drink if you don't want to go into Westfield. The area felt safe and less manic than direct central. I will stay here again. In fact, i want to stay next week but they are full! A little budget friendly gem. Highly rated. (Better than Travelodge for this area without a doubt- and i should know, i usually stay there for business!)

Westfield shopping centre. I recommend Jamie's Italian for food and Mr. Pretzel for a snack. If you want more, then take your pick of three tube stops that will take you east.
