Definitely not a 4 star hotel...very misleading!
Checked in Dec 19. No hot water Dec 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 morning. I called agency Monday Dec 24 to get this resolved and found out front desk lied 3 times. Claimed I was upgraded, then retracted and told that the agency that I was given the option to move to another room and that I refused. Who is in their right mind would refuse hot water??? I wasn't offered that rather I was told Friday night (Dec 21# that no hot water the entire building but they were working on it. Contrary to what I was told there was hot water in some rooms of the hotel but they didn't tell me... this I found out Monday morning after all those calls back and forth between agency and hotel front desk. No hot water was bad...for 4 nights was worse but being lied to was the worst. I decided to get out of there. I couldn't afford to jeopardize my London experience...by being there and already upset with staff Jean. I was supposed to check out Dec 26 but got out Dec 24. Instead of enjoying on christmas eve I have to spend time to make all those calls which took entire morning then I have to look for another accomodation somewhere else. I say... this was the most horrible hotel experience ever. I chose a 4 star with expectations of a 4 star service and accomodation only I felt I was duped. The carpeting on the staircase was old and torn with food smell so pervasive on the stairs down to check in counter #maybe close to the kitchen but with a good exhaust that could have been taken care of#. Staff was nice except Jean who repeatedly #3 times# lied. I don't know what good it would do to lie when you're in a service industry #hotel# one's role should be to make customer feel at home and secure #of course a hot shower after a long cold day of sightseeing would be nice). All she could have done is to apologize for the inconvenience but to lie to the agency rep Monday Dec 24 when I made my complain made my hotel experience even a lot worse!

This place is terrible, stay away.
This hotel is definitely not 4 stars as it is advertised. Motel 6 would give this place a run for their money at 1/3 of the cost.. The Experience: 1. The shower is moldy 2. Evidence of water damage all over the ceiling 3. The mattress was caved in so you would eventually end up sleeping in the middle 4. The bed also creeks every time you make a move 5. AC is too small for the size of the room and could not keep up - hotels solution? give us a fan. Worst of all: Someone was in our room and made several phone calls! Upon checkout we were informed that we had to pay for the phone calls that we have made - funny thing was that we made none. The charge was negligible but the fact that someone went into our room when we were not there will make me stay away from this place forever. Overall this was one of the worst places I have ever stayed at.

It has the smallest reception I've ever seen, the walls are falling apart, the general state of the building is lousy. It has one elevator that can only fit two people and it's scary to get in. I don't know where they got that they are a 4 star, at most a 2 star. Too expensive for what you get.

Do not stay here!
As a regular business traveller I only stay at 4 or 5 star hotels. This hotel is rated 4 stars and priced like one but it should only be a 2 star hotel. My experience here was absolutely horrible. * There was no wifi in the hotelrooms * The wifi only works in the lobby at one specific table but even that was not working during my 4 day stay which made conducting business impossible * Rooms were dirty and hotel is completely run down - wallpaper is peeling off the walls and there is mold in the ceiling * Nor roomservie - no gym

Worst service hotel [...]
When I arrived Hotel, they did not process check in. [...]I have been waited in front of reception for an hour.Can you imagine after more than 10 hours fly.They provide one room but it was totally different room I have seen [...] photo. I complained to them, they changed room.Can you imagine this service.Hotel is so dirty and there are no service.Even the lift light were gone.

My room was on the 5th floor just underneath the air-conditionning system of the hotel....very noisy. In addition, no TV was available. Breakfast service starts at 7:30, it is late for business people who have meeting starting at 8:30!

The hotel did not honor my reservation at the nice looking Knightsbridge Green hotel. Instead they gave me a small room with old carpet at a less attractively located, older property that is maintained by the same owner.

Hotel an guter Lage
Das Hotel befindet sich nur zwei Gehminuten vom Warenhaus Harrods und der nächsten U-Bahn Station entfernt. Ideal für einen Städtetrip nach London. Das Hotel lässt sich nicht mit einem Viersternhotel in der Schweiz vergleichen. Ich würde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in London trotzdem wieder hier logieren.
