Excellent hotel stay
Had a great overnight stay, staff was efficient and informative. Location is great on tube and bus lines, close to Notting Hill which is great for a wander and evening meal, Hyde Park across the street and a easy walk to Regents Park and Buck Palace. Room was just as advertised, clean, nice bath (tub was high up) overall fine for our purposes.. Did not have breakfast here as they wanted 10 pound per head, found a nice bakery next to the tube station and snacked and people watched instead

If traveling about England with a family using public transport and trains buy a rail Family Card in advance of your trip as well as any long distance train trip as you will save a suprising amount over standard fare. Family card works in a wide variety of situations, tube fares attractions etc, just ask if it is accepted. Can be found on national rail website

Good Location and Value, Expensive WiFi
great stay, good room. located not too far from grocery, laundry, train (tube) stations, few restaurants. Be warned, the wireless internet is expensive, about 20 pounds ($30) a day! Other than the internet, everything was great.

Great Location
The room was small (although by european standards was functional.) The room was warm and unable to cool off well, I was there in May and if it hadn't rained so much I don't know if I would have been able to stay in that room and be confortable. The location was good, very close to paddington station, although I think for me it was a little too far to walk. The tube is close and the staff was very helpful in arranging excursions.

The power of good photography..
Very disappointed, [...] but despite being a Brit I am always reminded how much better US hotels are. The pictures of the rooms are extremely deceiving, they are tiny rooms - the clerk argued with me that I didn't book for breakfast when I knew I had but had forgotten my paperwork back in the US. Most important mistake was the lack of a wakeup call despite being double verified that we were in the system for a 3am call to get to Heathrow in time. Front desk simply put it down to a phone error but were quite able to call us for our 4am taxi. The best part of this hotel was the Breakfast at a small Panini joint round the corner and an excellent pint and food round the corner (Lienstein Arms?..(sp?)

Hyde Park Great Location!
Great location to train and bus stations. Close to Kensington Gardens, food and shops. Hotel had a nice breakfast - we booked through a popular travel website and our breakfast was included. Staff was friendly but gave us a lot of misinformation about tours and other small pieces of info. Internet service was a disappointment. Other than that...room was nice, clean and cozy. They will hold your luggage if you arrive before check-in. In our case we were checked-in early. That was super nice!

A nice place to stay
The Park Inn hotel is located off a main street, but a short walk to bus and the Tube stations, making it easy to get around. It's also a short walk to Kensington Park. The room was small by comparison to what we're used to in the States, but it was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a computer in the lobby with free internet access. The only downside was no closet space in our room.

Short walk from hotel
There was a Greek restaurant on the street to the West of the hotel with excellent food at reasonable prices. We shared the mixed grill and enjoyed it very much. Don't waist time going to the "Jewel Tower," go to the "Tower of London" to see the Crown Jewels.

Great location!
I thought the Park Inn was a great hotel. The location was absolutely perfect. We took the underground everywhere we wanted to go. It was a short walk to Lancaster gate and Kensington Park. The rooms were clean. Our first room did not have the amount of beds we requested. The hotel moved our belongings to a new room the next day (they had no open rooms the first night). So it worked out. Plus our first beds were rock hard. The beds in the next room were more comfortable. There is construction going on across the street at the moment. It wasn't intolerable, but it was noticable. All of this was totally worth it for the price and location.

Park Inn Hyde Park
We spent the week in London celebrating an anniversary. The hotel was very good. Nice staff, convenient location, good breakfast and very nice rooms. The beds were firm (which we liked) and the bathroom clean and up to date. We are considering trips to other parts of the United Kingdom in the future and will try and stay at one of their hotels if we can. Only negative was construction noise across the street in the morning which hopefully will end soon.

Laundry and dry cleaners are around the block on Craven Terrace. Clothes can be cleaned quickly and fairly cheaply at the laundry service.
