Great Location
Great location next to Hyde Park, underground station and near Paddington station. Rooms were somewhat small but very comfortable and modern.

Great location, very nice and clean but rooms are small.
Good service, good restaurants, great location, very clean and pleasant but the rooms are quite small. reasonable price by London standards.

Great location & very helpful staff!
We stayed 7 nights and could not have been any happier. Location is great, across street from Hyde Park & only steps from the tube station. The tea & cookiesevery evening was wonderful. Bed was turned down every night complete with slippers beside it. The only thing that would have made it any better would be free wifi in the room.

Midwestern Two
Great deal and Great stay
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lancaster London. It was in a great location with very close proximity to Paddington station and another station was on the same block. The room was clean and had great ammenities. We were there for almost two weeks and did not have any issues. The staff was great at the front desk and business center, but the concierge had something to be desired depending on the day. I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel great staff!
We spent three days there and the location was great as it was right on the subway line and on the tour bus stops as well. The hotel staff were also great and the hotel is very beautiful. The only gripes were the room didn't seem spotless every time we came back to it and if your with children, one of the restaurants in the hotel, Island, was slow with service and forgot my kids breakfast one morning.

Best Location
We really enjoyed this hotel. It's right next to a Central Line Tube stop, yet we did not hear any extra noise. There was Wi-Fi but it was VERY expensive. However, we were allowed a total of 15 minutes every day for free. Most of the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Upon our arrival in London, we chose to buy the Big Bus tour (hop on, hop off) and paid the extra 5 lbs for the additional 24 hrs. We had transportation paid for 2 full days PLUS, we took advantage of the included walking tours.

Nice Hotel on a budget
The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are small by American standards and the bathroom is tiny but it's London so for the price you can't complain. Bed was very comfortable and AC worked well even on the hottest days. The location is very good as well with Central Line Underground nearby and Hyde's park right next to it.

Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff with a great location (literally next to Hyde Park, and maybe 50 meters from a Tube stop with several good pubs and restaurants nearby or within a reasonable walk). The rooms were spacious (by European standards) clean and well kept. Room service had fresh bathrobes and slippers ready by the time I came back from dinner/pubs every night. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

THE HYDE PARK AND THE LANCASTER TUBE STATION IS 2 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE HOTEL... YES 2 MINUTES WALK. ( VERY SAFE )

Very Nice Hotel
We booked 2 rooms in the hotel. One for our twin girls and one for us. Both rooms were very nice and clean. The location was excellent. The tube station was "underneath " the hotel so it was very convenient to go anywhere in the city. Nice pub right around the corner...The Swan. Check in was quick and easy....did not have much interaction with the staff but they seemed friendly enough. Elevators were painfully slow one morning...do not know if there was an issue with some of them or not. All in all I would recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.
