Great Experience
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of London. It is walking distance to Hyde Park and The British Museum. Great food nearby. The staff, especially Drew, was very helpful with all requested needs.

Good location but that's all...
The front desk staff did not display any customer service. We waited over 2 hours before they finally checked us into our room and gave us a ridiculous excuse saying the previous guests left their bags in the room. It made us feel like it was our fault for checking in on time. For the price of the room £300/night it wasn't worth it as the room we stayed in was very old and run down. I would rate this particular hotel a 3 star and the front desk staff 1 star.

birthday getaway
room service was excellent. Front desk at check out was great . Check in was less than welcoming. The concierge was was less than helpful and not at all forthcoming with assistance we received better information on the Street . Several members of the staff caused us to feel as if we were a bother to them instead of the paying guests at a five star hotel. The doorman was rarely at the door and more often speaking with other staff members.I would not rebook nor would I recommend this hotel to travelers looking for 5star

Location, Location, Location!
The staff at Le Meridian Piccadilly were extremely professional, friendly and helpful from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. It seemed that all they wanted to do was to make my stay there as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. And they did. This was my first time in London and the location couldn't have been better or more convenient for walking tours or underground use. I highly recommend Le Meridian Piccadilly. I will be back!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are several pubs within a short walking distance. Don't be afraid to eat there. The staff are accustomed to tourists who may or may not know the routine as far as how things are done. They are friendly and helpful. It's a great way to get a feeling for the neighborhood.

Failed to honor gold status
hotel is nice and in a great location, but they failed to give me free internet even though I am gold status at Starwood. Instead, they insisted that I pay over $30 a day for Internet. In addition, they gave me a "free drink" coupon. However, the fine print said the limit was $5 and there was not a single thing on the drink menu for less than $5.

Girls Trip
The hotel was very nice and very conveniently located in order to easily travel to many of the typical London attractions. The opposite side of Piccadilly Circus from where the hotel is located can be extremely busy and a little rambunctious at night. However, we didn't notice it on the side where the hotel is located. The concierge was helpful, with the exception of one we encountered. The room was small, but I guess typical for London. The beds were extremely comfortable.
