Vacation

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that the AC was not working. It did not get cold and the windows couldn't be opened so it was very hot. Also, the safe boxes were not working properly. Other than that the location and service was great.

Good Hotel

Great location, the room size was excellent comparing to other hotels in London, had a nice view at the Hyde Park. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. However, when I checked in, they informed me that I have to pay for my breakfast although my reservation shows free full breakfast, when I informed this, they asked for proof, luckily I had my reservation printout with me, then they accepted to offer free breakfast. The rooms were clean but the towels were bit smelly. Overall, it was good and I recommend it.

A pleasant weekend in London town

Just a gorgeous weekend in London town. Beautiful weather (yes, it does happen) and the hotel was pleasant enough. As a single person I had a small room, barely enough space to keep my suitcase open, but it was clean and otherwise pleasant and up-to-date. Free bottled water, coffee, tea and a shortbread cookie. Nice touch. The staff was very attentive to my wishes (safe rental) and the bus stop in front of the hotel was handy. Notting Hill and Hyde Park are really close and pleasant for strolling about. Breakfast, included in the price I paid, was super.

Use one of the hop on/off bus tours if you are a tourist. I used Big Bus Tours. Well worth the money considering that boatrides on the Thames are included and that one can choose from several guided walks that start around 6 PM (leaving from Trafalgar Sq).

Ramada Hyde Park

Great location next to the park, tube, etc. Worth staying at if you're looking for a safe choice of hotel vs some of the smaller ones in the area. East facing rooms do get hot in the summer mornings.

All receptionist & concierge help RUDE!!

This staff could care less greeting me on arrival. I told them upon arrival my room door would not lock properly finally on my last night they moved me to another room. Nothing beats packing & unpacking twice on your last night. My room I had no preference on location was terrible. Noisy all night long. I will advise everyone I know NEVER to use [...] much less a Ramada chain again.

London in 2 days

For a quick trip when you don't spend much time in a room this hotel was great. The room was clean, but small. For a 4 star rating would have expected it to be a bit more posh, maybe upgraded linens and a mini bar, but it was acceptable.

For the major London attractions you'll want to use the tube from this hotel, as it is a bit far from them for walking

Very Nice

This hotel was perfectly located to catch the tube and use public transportation. It is directly across the street from Hyde Park which was great for a walk, run or whatever your pleasure. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous
