Great for price and central location
After extensive research online, I booked this hotel because it seemed like the best hotel for the price. It did not disappoint. The hotel itself was excellent and I was also very pleased with the central, convenient location. For a visitor to London (i.e., for personal, not for business), this hotel is a great choice.

The hotel is in a great location- in Mayfair- quick walk to Oxford and Regents streets for shopping. Selfridges is just a short walk away. Restaurants: Try Gordon Ramsey's Maze located in the hotel; for great pub food in the area- The Punchbowl, The Running Horse Must see: Westminster Abbey, Churchill War Rooms

Exceptional choice and location
The hotel lives up to the reputation you'd expect from a higher end Marriott. The outstanding feature is the location. As soon as you exit you are surrounded by the charm of London architecture, shopping, and of course the people. It is also close to many embassies, including the American and Canadian.

Brilliant hotel and service
The rooms were large for London, spotless, very quiet, with perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. Location is very good - Selfridges is 100 yards from the hotel, Hyde Park around three blocks away, and the West End theaters a long walk or short taxi ride. The fitness center was outstanding: top quality gear, plenty of it, and they have the sense to air condition the room to keep it cool.

Very british.
