Lord Jim Hotel

The hotel staff were fairly friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself looks a lot nicer than it is. It does have an excellent location, but that is the high point. The rooms are only slightly larger than the bed in them and the hall bath is more than cramped. Overall, it's pretty cost effective for a short stay, but I probably won't be back.

the reception was very good we were allowed to ditch our bags in the hotel as we were two hours early , it was very cold outside & we were allowed to stay in the lounge with big tv while our room was being cleaned. the hotel looks clean on entering & staff very pleasant, our room was on the second floor, i was a little taken back with the small size of the room, but once settled in it turned out fine, the linen was clean as expected & the heating was brilliant for the time of year & we gagged it right down at night to sleep. the bathroom was small, but was able to do the usual neccesary things you do in the bathroom, plenty of hot water , but no bath if thats what you like?, i think if you are over a size 14 both of you would struggle with the room available,the room was on the front 2nd floor up & it was reasonably quiet for a london street , only 2minutes from the underground, plenty of shops .

The place at which we WERE going to stay fell through @ the last minute, so I booked this to give us somewhere to dump our bags while we figured something out for the rest of our stay in London. The room was barely big enough for the double bed, and the bathroom door couldn't open all the way into the bedroom because of this! We didn't have room for us & our bags - I can understand backpackers staying here, but we were on our honeymoon & had lots of stuff. The kicker was when I found a nice, roomy flat in the same neighborhood for us to rent for 2/3 of the price of this tiny place! Oh, also no hot water or decent pressure in the shower :(.

1泊だけの利用でしたが、立地場所がとてもよかったです。Earls Court 駅から数分で付きますし。Earls Court がリフト付きの駅なのでスーツケース２つでの移動でしたが問題なしでした。このホテルもリフトがありました。駅からの道も舗装されていてスーツケースでの移動は問題ありません。 しかし、初めに通された部屋はティーセットはあるのにコンセントがなくて、言ったらつけてくれましたが、設置に３０分くらいかかりました。その後その部屋のバスルームの電気が切れてしまい、結局、電球を取り替えられる人がいないとかで、（ただ電球を取り替えるだけで済むのだと思うのですが。その時のフロント係が年配の方だったのでできなかったのかと思います）ほかの部屋に移動することになりました。しかし、次の部屋のルームライトがつきませんでした。ベットライトがあるので問題はないですけど。。。　そして、翌日のチエックアウト時には水が出なくなりました。そんなで、設備的にはおすすめできません。設備というより、メンテナンスができてないって感じかもしれませんが。値段的にあの設備でも仕方ないのかもしれませんが。。。。 しかし、スタッフはどの人もいい人で、ニコニコと対応してくれました。エリアが抜群にいいのと値段が安いので次回また使うかもしれませんが。。。。　しかし、並びにたくさんホテルがあるので要検討かな・・・？！

no lift for the top floor, we had to move our luggage to for 1 floor

El hotel esta en un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor a dos minutos del metro y con buenas comunicaciones con el centro. La atención ha sido buena en general, las instalaciones, para lo que hay por alli, son buenas, habitaciones pequeñas pero limpias y sobre todo con baño y ducha )importante este detalle). Desde luego que no se puede comparar con cualquier hotel español les dan mil vueltas en todos los aspectos a los hoteles ingleses.
