Palace Court Hotel

The place is very bad mantained, dirty and our room was never cleaned in a 3 day stay. We were lucky that our luggage was not stolen while we left it in the storage room. There was no control whatsoever on who had access to it. It is advertised as a 3 star but not even close. The location is really good but the rooms need a complete overhaul (furniture, painting, etc)

Excellent location but internet limited to tiny hotel lobby. Wouldn't print out my boarding pass to the US which complicated my travel. Had to find internet cafe w/ services. Tiny room and bath.

I could touch both walls in my single room. The room was as deep as my twin bed. Not much room for luggage, but it did have a bathroom attached. For the price, it's pretty typical London. They never changed my sheets and no air conditioning.

For the money it was OK! The room we had was very small (very) but was told it was a larger room, possibly as it had a single bed squeesed in as well as a double. The double was up a flight of stairs with no standing room, you could just about sit up in bed so the ceiling was very oppressive. Not even sure if thats allowed. Any way it was just just a night. but it does seem as though the owners are filling every space possible. When I got home I found the room key in my pocket so being a good citizen I rang to say I would send it back immediately. The response I received was unbelievable, the "manager" I spoke to was very rude and insisted I would pay for the room for another 2 nights. I of course told him my telephone call was to be polite and he could use his spare key for the time being, he then insisted he had no spare, then changed his mind and said it would be inconvenient to keep opening the door all night (the door happens to be next to reception about 4m away) and he insisted he would charge me. If he charged my card which I doubt, he would be breaking the law, so I said I would take him to court. All in all I doubt we would stay there again and I suggest to the management that in a service industry he should be sacked. Many keys are lost and stolen and spares are always on hand (if not then bad management). Hotel OK for 1 night at about £50

first time I'd stayed at this hotel , my single room was very small but adequate as I didn't plan to spend too much time there.hotel has 5 floors and no lift and when I asked I was given a room on the first floor,when I first went into the room the heaters were on full in the bedroom and bathroom and for me the heat was too much but the receptionist was helpful and I was able to turn off the heaters which was fine, a very large window in the room but unable to open it but fine as heaters could be controlled. breakfast adequate for me best to get down early as you might have to wait at busy times, location excellent for 3 tube stations Queensway, Bayswater and Notting Hill Gate.No 390 bus from Bayswater Road to Oxford St, and Euston , a large selection of restaurants of all types in the area and it felt a very safe area to walk alone at night.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel une nuit avec mon mari le temps d'un week-end shopping et visite à Londres. Ce fut tout simplement parfait pour le prix! Hôtel proche de deux métros 5 à 10 min à pieds (Bayswater et Queesway). Chambre certes pas très grande mais correct pour le prix, nous n'en demandions pas plus (lit, armoir, chevet, salle de bain dans notre chambre, eau chaude sans problème), personnel correct, petit déjeuner très correct (lait, café, chocolat, thé, céréales, pain, toast, micro onde). Bref je recommence cet hôtel et n'y manquerai pas d'y retourner!

J'ai réserve une nuit d'hôtel pour mon mari et moi. Certes il ne faut pas s'attendre a un 5 étoiles. Mais pour le prix et la position de l'hôtel c'était juste parfait!!! Taille de la chambre correct, nous y passions juste la nuit donc pas besoin d'une chambre avec suite.. Salle de bain dans la chambre avec eau chaude sans problème. Petit déjeuner inclus avec ce qu'il faut (lait céréales pain chocolat cafe the micro onde..) bref je ne m'attendais pas a autant pour un si petit budget. Et il faut souligner la position très proche de l'hôtel du métro qui permet d'accéder facilement a Londres centre. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j'y retournerai avec plaisir!
