Recently renovated, Swiss Cottage boasts not only an exclusive London hostel city address and an impressive building but an unbeatable service! They have a 24 -hour reception so you can be assured they are always there for you if you need them, they have also taken great care when it comes to your safety & security so you don't need to worry and can chill in the bar or relax in the lounge watching the latest game. They offer Free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel so you can stay in touch with the rest of the world and explore what's on in London. An added bonus is that beds are already made for you (free linen) and come with full bed set -all for free- so the late arriving guest can jump straight into bed -or the bar. *** Please note that guests under the age of 16 are not allowed to stay in a dorm sharing with other travellers (strangers). You will need to book a private room if you are travelling with children *** They do believe that a happy lodger needs a good breakfast, which is why they have a free continental breakfast for you to start your sightseeing around London as early you want.

good spot for the price, but you get what you pay for...

Pros: Reasonable price for a bed in London-- Swiss Cottage is nice area, and pretty close to the Camden Markets. They also serve free breakfast, and the facilities are reasonably clean. Cons: It is still a hostel-- when staying in the mixed dorms, you should definitely lock up your personal belongings (while staying there, someone's valuables were stolen while they were out at the bar) There were also some nights where you can't get a good night's rest as people are walking in and out of the room at 3am, shuffling, snoring.,, etc.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

by the Finchley Road train station is an amazing Persian restaurant with great traditional Persian food.
