3 Night Stay
The hotel was located in outskirts of city so traveling to and fro proved a hassle. It was comfortable enough for a 3 night stay at 70 pounds/night for 2 pax. Breakfast provided was decent, however, the breakfast room was often packed and crowded out. Unfortunate thing about my stay was that the hotel's washing machine was located right outside my room which was located at the basement. This proved a little nusiance when you wanted to sleep in in the morning. Other than that, it was decent enough a hotel for that price.

Excellent location, great price
We spent five nights here and really found it to be a perfect location to get most places in London quickly. We had never been to London so were worried about that, and found Bayswater to be a great choice. The hotel itself was clean and efficiently run (slow elevators!). It was an excellent deal for the price (which puts it in the "not fancy" category). My only complaint was that the breakfast room was small and could be extraordinarily crowded. Going early is a good plan.

stay not as well as previous times there
Have stayed there before several times. Rooms were always small which is as expected in a budget London Hotel. But this time the room's bath, which was private but NOT in the actual room, was ridiculously small-could barely get inside the very tiny shower! Not sure I'll go back after this trip is done. would have recommended it as a relatively inexpensive option before but not now.

Very modest, but if you just need a room...
Small room, even by European standards. Shower was private, but separate from the room...the very small room. Clean, close to Bayswater tube station.

Hotel
the rooms were very cramped but clean. The breakfast was adequate and the staff were superb. The eqquipment ie lights, door hangers and phones needed checking because frequently hooks fellmoff doors, lights very touchy and did not always work and phones needed to be checked as could not receive calls. A very average hotel in fairly good area just needs a little upgrade here and there. No bed bugs which is a plus and very pleasant helpful staff. Needs more front desk help with sign ins as they seemed to get backed up. I would stay here again.

Great value for a reasonable price!
This hotel was literally a minute walk away from the Colombes Metro station, which made it very convenient to get into Paris every day. At first glance, it might seem like nothing is too spectacular near the hotel, but there was a supermarket, several places to eat, a bank, and an internet bar all within a 5 minute walk. The staff didn't speak much English, but they were still very nice and helpful - even with my attempts at broken French sentences. The hotel room was very small, but it was enough to just rest for the night and head back into Paris each day. Very clean rooms, and a great internet connection was a plus!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The bakery on the same side of the road as the hotel heading towards the metro station (sorry, I can't remember the name) had amazing pastries at very reasonable prices. A must for anyone looking for authentic and delicious breakfast snacks!

errrr fine for somewhere to bed down but still overpriced
first room we were given was in the basement, next to the the laundry (very noisy), scruffy (carpet curling at corners, no shower curtain) and was likely meant to be staff accom. We asked to be moved and in fairness this was done without fuss. Our room on the 3rd floor was better. Still a very small room for the furniture within but the bathroom was clean and it was quiet enough for a nights sleep. Breakfast was something else! mostly tourists staying here who struggled with the concept of queuing!! OJ and Jam both appeared watered down. If you wanted hard boiled eggs though you were quids in as there were eggs in abundance! Really this hotel was more of a hostel and was not worth £70 a night. It served a purpose for us but we would not repeat the experience!!
