With one of the best restaurants in London, The Capital Hotel and Apartments is a quietly dignified, yet friendly bastion of English good taste, conveniently placed in a quiet residential street in Knightsbridge.
It is easy to relax at this intimate hotel with its sophisticated charm and courteous staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Tasteful traditional English decor is reflected in elegant furnishings, antiques and original works of art throughout the hotel.
But what really sets The Capital apart is dining in the restaurant where you can find a classic British style of cooking with robust, highly accomplished flavours. Sample the five-course degustation menu accompanied by a selection of superb wines. After which, you can indulge in some local shopping. Harrods is so close to the hotel that you can almost smell the truffles in the Food Halls.

Location is outstanding for anyone
Location is outstanding for anyone who wants to be next to Harrods and/or Knightsbridge Tube. Service would be better if less aloof. Cigar smoke annoying in tiny bar. Little known gem: full tea in delightful, peaceful little nook. Bedrooms well appointed but not for claustrophobes.
