Wish you could go back...
I have stayed several times in this hotel before it was sold to the Ascott Group. This was my first stay since the ownership change. I found myself thinking that the 4 star rating might better become 3. The restaurant needed help in menu expansion and choice. There was no recognition that we had stayed and were returning guests of the hotel. Additionally, there is no wifi in the rooms. Finally, the housekeeping didn't continually accomadate our requests: for example, we had asked for additional towels and needed to ask each day for these towels to be brought up again.

Enjoyable London Experience
I found the hotel to be in a great location as I was able to walk to many of the sights of London. The Tube and the bus system were easy to access from the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The concierges were wonderful!

Wonderful location
It is a charming hotel, very tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and a pleasant/helpful staff! It is a great location, right in the middle of a very active area without being on the main artery! We enjoyed every minute of it: easily accessible to the underground, shopping, food, entertainment and main touristic attraction areas. It will definitely my preferred hotel in London.

Great stay!
I stayed @ Cavendish for a long weekend to meet up with a friend. Location of this hotel couldn't be any better, walking distance to Piccadilly Circus & Soho, yet on a quiet street. The room was very spacious (for London) and came with two single beds (per request). Everything was clean and looked recently renovated. Hotel personnel were always friendly and WIFI was available for free in the lobby. This was my 3rd stay in London area and this was by far the best hotel.

The Cavendish London
The hotel was very accomodating to our every request - right down to specially having Maple Syrup for the pancakes we requested. The central location was ideal to walk to the city center. The concierges were very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Upon request they provided luggage racks and extra towels to accomodate our suitcases.

Lovely and woudl recommend it!
Perfectly located and yet quiet. Room and bathroom were absolutely lovely but then quite small. We did not have suitcases and I guess if we had had, that would have been annoying. Perfect to go from Oxford St (high street shops)or Jermyn St (fancy designer) to restaurants. Covent Garden is around the corner... Check the map but note the hotel can also arrange shows for you. Watch out for cleaning ladies walking in your room even though it's not check out time yet?!

Pretty close to PERFECT!
I would rate this as an absolutely perfect place for someone who is visiting London. Staff bent over backwards, classy, clean, and NOT "snobby" at all. The location is absolutely perfect as stated. If returning to London, I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Not a downside, but the hotel was a little more "modern" than I was expecting, but this is a not a downfall at all. Rooms a touch on the small side, but they are for sleeping afterall. Time is to be spent in London, not the hotel! But, if you have to stay in the hotel, this is it! The free breakfast included in the stay is awesome, unexpected DELIGHT!

Short walk from hotel
The Cavendish REALLY is a short walk from anything and everything you would want to see. For things further out, get an Oyster card to easily travel on the tube. We used the concierge for recommendations on where to eat.

Excellent hotel..amazing staff..
I stayed at the Cavendish with my friend. The hotel is in an amazing location, between 2 different tube station less than 5 min walk to either one). Alot of tourist attraction around which means lots of food, shopping, sight seeing. the rooms are very comfortable and clean. the most amazing comfortable beds i have ever slept on. the staff are super friendly and helpful. we managed to get free internet through our 10 day stay bc we were using the computers in the lobby but for wireless connection im not sure. the breakfast buffet was very good and yummy! i would probably stay at the Cavendish again and ill recommend it to others as well.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
While staying at the Cavendish I dined at the Toku Japanese restaurant at 212 Piccadilly. The food is amazing, affordable (anywhere between £10 to £20 per/person). I went to Toku twice while there and both times they were VERY busy! So don't be surprised if you have to share a table with strangers. Definitely will go back to eat here again, all the food I ate tasted very fresh and felt like home cooked meals.
