Perfektes shopping Hotel, da es direkt an der Oxford Street liegt. Auch mit dem Nachtbus ist das Hotel noch gut zu erreichen.

Un très bel hôtel, très bien situé
Nous sommes arrivés tard dans la nuit, sans avoir prévenu la réception, aucun problème, pas de commentaire, notre chambre était prête et nous attendait. Nous avions choisi une chambre standard qui s'est révélée, sans surprise, être d'une taille modeste mais tout à fait conviviale et propre. Une jolie salle de bain-douche bien propre et, le petit +, une table avec fer à repasser! La chambre a été parfaitement nettoyée et rangée le lendemain. Un gros coup de coeur pour le service d'étage: bien que le prix soit plutôt élevé (il faut compter le prix des plats + GBP 4.5 + 12.5% du prix total pour le service, OBLIGATOIRE et compris dans le ticket final(!!) ) la qualité des produits était présente et la rapidité du service nous a surpris en bien. A noter que l'hôtel est à 10 secondes à pieds de la station de métro Marble Arch et donc du parc Hyde Park et se trouve en toute fin de la rue Oxford Street, donc idéal pour faire les magasins! Il n'y a pas à dire, l'hôtel est PARFAITEMENT situé et je ne peux que le recommander, surtout avec les prix de sites comme e boo kers!

Hotel ist sehr sauber, Personal freundlich und die Lage ist der Hammer, grad neben der Station Marble Arch! Zimmer war etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Jederzeit wieder!

Zentrales, stylishes Hotel - leider laute Klimaanlage
Die zentrale Lage an der Oxford-Street direkt bei der Tube-Station Marble Arch ist super, vor allem für Shopping. Die Greenline-Busse nach London Luton fahren gleich gegenüber im Hyde Park ab - sehr praktisch. Im nahe gelegenen "Le Pain Quotidien" (an der North Audley Street) gibt's gutes Frühstück, leckere Kuchen UND gratis WLAN. Denn im Cumberland ist das Frühstück nicht inbegriffen und recht teuer. Und WLAN gibt's nur gegen Bezahlung - was ich unverständlich und ärgerlich finde. Das Zimmer war sauber und stylish, die Eingangshalle cool, das überwiegend osteuropäische Personal freundlich. Negativ war - nebst dem generell schwachen Wasserdruck der Duschen in England - einzig ein extrem lautes Brummen der Klimaanlage/Heizung vom Facility Room nebenan, aber wir hatten dann doch keine Lust auf einen Zimmerwechsel. Also vor dem Auspacken zuerst lauschen.

Nicht nur die Lage stimmt.
Alles in Allem ein super Hotel in perfekter Lagen mit Underground und Park direkt vor der Tür. Nicht laut, sauber und mit Charme. Immer wieder gern :)

Super Lage- Zimmer ausgezeichnet
Das Hotelzimmer ist in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand, das Personal ist mehr als hilfsbereit und kompetent. Auf jedenfall zum weiter empfehlen... wenn ich das nächste Mal in London bin, werde ich auf jedenfall wieder ein Zimmer im Cumberland buchen. Das einzige was mich etwas gestört hat waren meine lauten Nachbarn, aber dafür kann ja eigentlich das Hotel nichts. :)

Gut in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel ist sehr groß und liegt gerade für den Start von Bus-Sightseeing nahe Marble Arch sehr zentral. Auch für die fußläufige Erkundung der City bietet sich die direkte Lage an der Oxfordstreet an. Die Zimmer sind teilweise modern eingerichtet, aber unser zuerst angebotenes Zimmer war sehr klein. Das stets sehr bemühte Personal hat allerdings umgehend für Alternativen gesorgt. Die innen liegenden Zimmer sind naturgemäß ruhiger, die äußeren Zimmer geben teilweise den Blick auf den Hydepark frei. Wenn auch durch sehr kleine Fenster und untermalt mit einem städtischen Geräuschpegel. Die Frühstückshalle hat zwar den Charme einer Kantine, aber das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und typisch Englisch. Alles in Allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel mit hervorragendem Personal in einer tollen Stadt.

Ausgezeichnet
Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im Cumberland vom 07.04.12-10.04.2012.es war alles perfekt.Lage ausgzeichnet direkt an der Oxfordstreet ,gegenüber des Hydparks.Personal überaus freundlich vorallem eine holländische Dame an der Reception.Preis Leistung es hat alles gepasst.Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort.Ursula und Martina
