This 5-star hotel is in London's Knightsbridge and looks out over Hyde Park. It has air-conditioned luxury rooms and offers a personal butler service, free Wi-Fi and free use of a laptop. The Lanesborough's traditional rooms mix 19th-century style with modern luxury. Many also have scenic views over Hyde Park. Apsleys, a Heinz Beck Restaurant, has a Michelin Star for its seasonal Italian cuisine. The Library Bar has a real open fire, and offers a range of cocktails and cognacs. The Lanesborough has also been awarded Best Afternoon Tea in London by the UK Tea Council. Guests can also enjoy homemade scones and jams, and thick clotted cream. The hotel offers free on-demand movies, a change of clothing pressed on arrival, free tea/coffee on arrival, and free daily fresh fruit and mineral water. There is also a fitness room, and a unique smoking lounge with an impressive luxury cigar collection.

Amazing attention to details
We had a fantastic experience at the Laneborough over the holidays. The level of service is extraordinary - butler, complimentary tea service with a silver teapot and china, bottle of wine and crystal wine glasses waiting for us in the room on arrival, personalized stationery and business cards for our use during our stay, etc. Really A++++ at all levels.
